While I was off work for three weeks the company posted some lateral move openings. Basically non-pay raise promotions for the most part. I got back just in time to throw my name in the hat. Got the news this morning that I was chosen for my top choice. It'll be a much cleaner, easier, less physically demanding job. Plus, there's enough OT potential for a $500/week income increase. It's nice to finally have something good happen.
