Good Morning Guys...Dan, George, Josh, Scott, Dave, Art, Trevor, GMoney, MOFNY, Bungle77 and anyone else I may have missed. It's been quite a cold but very sunny week over here in Seattle...M's tickets go on sale today so I hope to land 4 opening day tickets to see the return of Griffey  How is everyone doing? Lots of dogs fans on the morning thread...I love dogs myself but the apartment only allows cats and fish so we have 2 cats and tons of fish

That's pretty cool Maine, did he make the show?

Art

They should have made the show......

When my son sang "Who let the dog(s) out...who who who....." our dog would howl madly, it was a riot having them "sing" together. It was also fun watching my son try to control the dog who certainly had a mind of his own under the bright lights....but when it came time to sing it worked like clock-work.

My son actually got interviewed on the local (Channel 13 in Portland) news the night of the auditions and when asked why do you want to be on the Letteman show he answered without a beat (and without any prompting from me) "becuase I want to be famous."

We actually never heard from the guy in the pic so I followed up with the news reporter who interviewed my son who followed-up for us. She was told they did not make the show becasue they were worried that my son would get nervous, which is a joke because he has always had a lot of self confidence.

We actaully have the video clip somewhere of the interview and segment on the news.

In the end, they took a women who could make her bunny fall asleep when she cooed at it...I'm convinced she was putting a choke-hold on the damn rabbit.....

Good morning all. Tomorrow is Friday!

I just wanted to share that my daughter made her school's softball team yesterday. She is pumped and I am proud. She pitches and plays 1st base. Time to bring the heat!

Have a great day!

Most certainly :D ...I watched him for years when he was here. I really miss that scary left handed side arm...pair that with his height and I would be cowering at the plate  I even read recently he asked about an M's jersey if he were to be inducted into the HOF ;)

No, right-handed. She is in 8th grade and tall for her age, about 5'9", so she is a tall target and can stretch. She has been pitching for a couple years now. She developed a new windup this year where she starts low to the ground and then explodes into her windmill. It's pretty cool and it may be a little intimidating to other girls. We'll see.

How old is your son?

Hope I can get them before they sell out...I have a feeling this is going to be a much more popular year for the M's than what us locals are used to
