Not here. Once the money tree starts growing I should be able to have some fun.

I did find a couple of neat little gu/auto subsets I think I'll try to put together in my spare time down the road.[/quote]

Morning Josh, George and Alex (not myself  )...

Josh - You haven't created a monster...just another future morning threader

George - How was the run? I'm about a month into a daily 2 mile bike ride to work...keeps me feeling more than healthy

Alex - Looking forward to your thread...you have us all in suspense now so the pressure is on

Dave - Do you have a checklist of any non-Ultimate needs? If so I could use it PM style my way ;)

Alex

Alex, good job on the bike! Just trying to get back into the routine, the runs are getting better. I hope to be back down to 630-7 minute miles by July.

Morning boys.

Yes, Zambrano did something stupid. I'm not sure, but I think that makes him the only player this year to get
pissed off and get ejected, right? I'm a little tired of all the Cubs hate BS already this year.

I dont think he has been suspended due to the ejection, it was the bumping of the ump and throwing the ball into the stands.

Thanks George!!!...not to shabby yourself. I haven't ran a 6:15 mile probably since high school track. You sticking with it all summer? We had bike to work this month so I pledged myself to continue to do 5 days per month minimum during the summer. I'm lucking out with these awesome sunrises on my way in...drop down a 1.5 mile hill that overlooks the Puget Sound and the sun rises up over the west side of the mountain range. Way too tough to miss right now  Whats new on your "checklist" to get?

Charlie - Morning bud...any tastes of the freshly caught bass?

Some of Max's take from last night.

He's just happy to get Brewers in a pack. It's funny to see him get excited just finding the cards he wants.

Picked up these for $.99 each. The Glavine has Johnson and Washburn on the back. The shop had it up on ebay. So it no shipping if I win. The other 3 a customer of the shop had them up on ebay so I put in $.99 bids on them just because. No shipping on those either. :D

Oh a couple of weird looking sets, but I like the player lists:

UD 1970'd Decades GU Jsy/autos:
http://sports.upperdeck.com/Baseball/cardset.aspx?q=5&r=1&sid=6920

UD Vintage Timeless Teams Quad combo bats:
http://sports.upperdeck.com/Baseball/cardset.aspx?q=5&r=1&sid=7720

I was born in 1970, so I think I'm going to also put the 1970 Topps set together. Should be fun! Looking forward to something new. Having doubts that Ult Sig will ever be complete.

Gold morning gents. I hope everyone's Friday is off to a fine start. I want to thank everyone again for their well wishes yesterday. I'm sitting here working and Crystal is resting, but she says she is feeling much better today.

Alex (metfan)- I think I know the card you're talking about. ;)

Josh- Max did well last night! Some nice pick ups too.

Charlie- I agree, but hey, at least the Cubs are good enough to hate on. As a Reds fan, we've been insignificant for years.

I have a bunch of stuff incoming. I picked up my first actual game used item. Very cool. I cannot wait for that to come in.

Good morning Joe! Glad that Crystal's home. Runs to the ER are not fun at all. Been there too many times that I care to remember, and none of them were for me. :( But glad she is feeling better today!

Can't wait to see the new Rose cards you got.

Hey Dave. It's going great man! She's due at the end of August. We're excited and completely terrified.

I dont think he has been suspended due to the ejection, it was the bumping of the ump and throwing the ball into the stands.
If you watch the replay while even half paying attention, you can see that the ump advanced toward Z.

Joe - I think the Reds are going to suprise a few people this year.
And thankfully, most of their fans aren't hateful d-bags.

To be honest Charlie, my second favorite team is the Cubs. :o I know that could be hard to believe from a Reds fan, but I have always had a soft spot for the Cubbies. I remember growing up watching Dawson, Dunston, Sandberg, Cey, Durham, and later on Maddux, Palmiero and of course Grace and Sosa. It goes on and on. I could probably go a little further back, but it's early and I'm only on my third cup of coffee.

Dave (wide)- Thanks. Nothing huge on the Rose front, but several more cards I need. I am hoping to be over the 300 mark after I get them all in.

Crystal is feeling better today. I'm sure the rest will help a lot. Thank you again guys.

Dave (pgh)- Glad you like the card and that I could help your collection. People might think I'm a decent person if you keep showing that thing off.

Alex- Smiles are definitely in order today. A day better than yesterday is always worthy of a smile. :D
