I am pumped for Sunday. Heading to Wrigley to watch the Cubs vs Twins. We got a set of FREE rooftop tickets, all you can eat, all you can drink!!

Off to devils lake(wisconsin) for some camping and some fishing.



Then a week and i'm off to the jersey shore for another week!


On top of that, I have some BIG time mail days when I return. I'm going to try and hold off opening any mail for the next couple of weeks until I return from NJ.

Josh - Its been harder than I thought. From what I have seen and heard he is a "SP" prospect in the set and you don't see him as often. Doesn't explain the orange refractor though since there are 25 of every card for those :? Thanks again for the start

George - I wish I was going to Nationals. I haven't been to a card show for over 10 years...there is none around Seattle Sounds like an enjoyful weekend for you...any fun plans?

Jeff - Humor is definitely a great thing...does the middle finger still work? (just in case :lol: ). By the way...that scene and the "this coffeetastes lik sh*t..." scene are a couple of the best in that series :lol:

morning everyone.

Game 7 of the Stanley Cup Finals between the Penguins and Red Wings is tonight. I am so excited and I have to wait until 8:15 for the puck to drop. I think the Pens will win 4-2.

the Pirates took the last 2 games of the 4 game series against the Braves and the Red Sox swept the Yankees and are now 8-0 against them this season .

I will be working all weekend as usual and may go to the Pirates Tigers game tomorrow night depending on the weather.

Let me tell you guys what happened:

And as for Flacco - you won't believe this... Yesterday I was in a golf outing for Meghan's father's non-profit organization in Baltimore County, Maryland. Lenny Moore, one of the greatest Colts (HOF in 1975) was there as always - it's 20th anniversary, and he's always there to represent my fiancee's father and the company. Very nice gentleman - he gracefully signed a hat for my dad as father's day present. Anyways, there was a or that Joe Flacco is playing golf in the same golf course. I didn't believe it at first. Meghan and I went into the pro shop because she wanted a pair of golf shoes (got them cheap for $25!!). While she was looking at the shoes, suddenly Joe Flacco came into the shop by himself. No one recognize him, except me (of course!) ) I said, 'Hey Joe' while Meghan was in awe of him. Same body as I am, but taller than me (about 2 inches). He was just a well-mannered and friendly person. Meghan told him, "We are the Blue Hens! I graduated from Delaware in '05" and he smiled and laughed. High-fived Meghan. Joe somehow very much appreciated my congratutions for his brother Mike Flacco being drafted by the Baltimore Orioles (I just didn't want to talk about him, him and me or meghan all the time, you know?) Then he told us that he had to go to the bathroom and will be back... A couple of minutes later, he came back to us while I was paying for the shoes. Asked us how we are doing. We talked about football and stuff for 10 minutes. He wasn't in a hurry or anything, so I asked him if he could sign his name below Lenny Moore signature for my father, and he said 'yeah definitely man'... Something Meghan and I both will never forget... Just a great all-around guy Joe Flacco is.

And Meghan later told me that I should have given him my business card so we could get in touch.. I was like that's kinda rude - he's enjoying himself away from the football field and home, you know? Give him room to chill... Maybe next time if he recognizes us, then I ll ask him if he wants to hang out sometime...

That is awesome! Lenny Moore has to be one of the nicest guys I have ever met. I met him at a signing show with Gino Marchetti, and he was just talking with fans like they were his best friends! It was awesome!

Once again, congrats on meeting Flacco!
