Good morning everyone!
Pretty slow night last night without the Red Sox but I was able to bust open a box of 1998 Flair Baseball.
I pulled a Tony Womack Legacy and a Bonds Row 0 #'d to 500 and a David Cone Row 0 #'d to 2000.
Not a bad box.
Got some nice Jim Ed cards coming in as well as some Lee Smith cards. Will have scans up in a couple of days.
Just got invited to the Red Sox tomorrow night. Pretty excited for that as it's been the 1st game that I have been to in a couple of years.
I was browsing photobucket the other day and came across one of the best Jim Rice cards ever produced. It was from 2008 Upper Deck Premier and it was a 1/1 Bat Barrel. Jim Ed has a couple of bat barrel cards but this is the first one that I have ever seen. Anyway, since you really can't email someone from photobucket, I was able to track him dowm on youube. His youtube name is "the pack ripper". It appears as though he pulled this card during a group break. I have sent him a couple of messages to see if he still had the card or to get the name of the person who has it but I have yet to receive a response. This would be one of the top cards that I would ever own (I have his 2004 Topps Originals 1975 Rookie auto 1/1) but what frustrates me is that I can't get a hold of the guy.
Anyway, that's my story.
