Good morning. Nice to see that July continues to rain.

Steve - good luck with the interview.

I can't believe the Sox gave up the lead last night. I really can't believe that I went to bed at 10-6, and was pretty sure they'd give up the lead. It just had that feel to it.

LOL! I was watching it on that Yahoo game thingy and it was 9-1 in the 6th I believe. I thought, wow Smoltzy is having a good game, should be his first win. Went to put the kids to bed and when imac said that I had to go check! Cannot believe they lost a lead that big. Gonna go read the wrap. That's just insane.

Charlie - might meet a buddy for some lunch, other than that trying to beat the heat and working around the house.

Steve - since you follow what I say so well.....send me the Walter Johnson cut. I will give it a GREAT home!

My mom lives in Hattiesburg, MS. She said it's been pretty brutal down there lately.
How's the Gulf seafood this time of year? I have a buddy who used to bring up
fresh shrimp every September. Man I miss that :D

Well, if you haven't been, N.O. has the best food you will find in the US. PERIOD. Can't miss!

Seafood is great, boiled crabs, corn/crab soup etc are popular at present...but you cant go wrong with anything really as far as seafood goes.

BTW - I am a big fan of USM...was close to going there, until I was re-routed to LSU...

Good morning gents!

Mack- Have you tried the Frisco Breakfast Sandwich from Hardee's? That's my favorite breakfast sandwich from there. I like their chicken biscuits too.

Steve- Good luck with the interview man! We're all pulling for you.

According to UPS.com, I will have a nice mailday today. It's from a trade I made awhile ago. I will definitely be sharing pictures of it when it comes it. It's a nice card and another piece to add to my memorabilia collection. :D

My mom moved down there about 2 years ago, but I haven't had time to visit yet :(
Once the baby comes, we will be def. be down there for a visit, and N.O. will be one of my top priorities
while I'm there! I haven't had my yearly alottment of crawfish in a long time

Btw - My aunt is actually the head of the psych dept. at USM.
She really likes it there.

USM is once of the best campuses I have ever seen.

I re-routed to follow the wife to LSU at the last minute, and that worked itself into 12 years together and counting.

I'm actually due for a new USM hat in the near future...

morning everyone.

the Pirates beat the Cubs 3-0 in the 100th anniversary rematch game of Forbes Field.

as some have already mentioned the Sox lost 11-10 to the O's after having a 9-1 lead :o . Jason Bay went 0-5 and is in quite a slump recently. I hope he starts to put it together again and returns to his early season form.

NHL free agency starts today at noon. hopefully the Pens can sign 2 or 3 of their free agents.

Steve good luck on your interview.

Joe looking forward to seeing your mailday or UPSday I guess.

Morning Gents!!! Dan, Dave and Dave, Charlie, Ian, Chris, Joe, Sam, Beefy, and all you other MT'ers I am forgetting  Sounds like a decent day so far for everyone.

:grouphug: BEST OF LUCK ON YOUR INTERVIEW STEVE-O!!! :grouphug:

Not much going on today...we (Seattle) are in our "heat wave"...what I call a perfect 82 degree week  Most Seattlites don't do well with weather over 75 degrees so people kinda freak out and complain  Anywho...just got the recording studio up and running and hopefully finishing up some stuff for the wedding. What else is going on with everyone??

Good morning guys. I'm starting the day by watching last night's Astros game. I can't stay up late enough to finish the game when it starts at 9pm so I just record it and save it for the morning.

Other than that I'm just hoping for a phone call from Enterprise to see if I got the job. They said they would call me by the end of the week so I probably won't hear from them until tomorrow or Friday. Might update the bucket and try to do some trading or go to the pool. Not a lot on the agenda.

Back at you Dan!!! No new pickups...I am officially on hold until after returning from the honeymoon. Last weekends show was nice for that...and a little unexpected to say the least. I've been watching some stuff, but luckily nothing has popped up I have needed. there were a couple King Felix items that I completely missed out on but luckily there is a decent print run of those. Always watch the gold refractor autos (Hernandez of course) but that will be out of reach even after the wedding. Other than that my plan is to save up for a case of Sweet Spot for this year. How about you...any new pick ups yourself?? I still live my word if I ever pull that Walter Johnson cut ;)

Trevor - Morning dude. I hope you get THE phone call as well...if not spend the rest of the week as if it was summer time out of school

Not really for me either. A few side projects aroun d the house to take care of. Repainting the living room, re-mulching the back garden, buying a new dishwasher etc.

How much is a case of sweet spot?

I might just have to go to the pool and get wasted... Good idea! :D

The wife is getting a little tired of me not bringing in any cheddar. I've been out of work for about 2 months now. If I don't get this job I'm going to have to get a ****** $10/hr retail job. Man that degree cost me ~60k and is worthless in this economy...
