Alex, thanks....

Watching Mike and Mike....They are discussing Wiffle ball rules, do you play and what rules do you use?
We use any given backyard and you can make an out by hitting any given runner.

Good morning everyone. I'm back in South Carolina for a few days, going to spend the majority of my time on Lake Murray. I won't be doing much else though, I sprained my left foot BAD two days ago.

Morning guys. Happy 4th to all tomorrow. Not sure if I'll be around or not. Thinking of just taking the day off and relaxing away from it all. Well, maybe not all. I'm finding out what a great cook she is. :D

Today might be kinda fun.

Go to the PO, go to the bank, move some furniture, and scan.

Then maybe order some pizza and watch the Cardinals. :)

Dan - Yeah...busy agenda today. Normal day at work, its actually going to be a quiet weekend thanks to the 4th. After work Jen and I are getting the last of the food we can get early at Costco, then its off to Target to throw some last minute items on the registry. Her mom just bought us some really nice curtains for our deck window so we are finding rods for those today as well. My 4th is going to be VERY quiet too, but we have a sweet view of the sound and surrounding cities from our couch and windows alone we get a free show this year  How about yourself...are you and Jen having any people over or going anywhere for tomorrow??

George - No prob. Wiffle ball rules to me are exactly like poker rules...depends on who is the host and where its at. I always play the hit-the-runner = an out rule too...makes it more fun 8-)

Dave - Morning wake-a-wide!!! Ditto on the fireworks. Your kids sound to be having a great time with dad this summer...tons of actual real stuff to learn too. Way to go "dad"

Art - Has the rain stopped?? Wow...she's cooking for you now. That is an AWESOME sign my man...continue enjoying the couple life :D Have a great 4th yourself...hope the weather holds up just perfectly.

Laney - Have a great time bud...sorry to hear about the pain :(

Skorris - That actually sounds like a very perfect collectors afternoon

Alright George, sorry for the delay
Got 3 packages yesterday, and I'm probably happiest about this one.

2005ChampionsImpressionsBlue9-100.jpg

/100 - For as much of this that gets busted, this is the 1st parallel that I've found.

2007PremierNoteworthy21-50.jpg

This one had Free Shipping, and an opening bid of $5.99. Somehow, I got it for $5.99 :D

2007SweetSpotBat1-53.jpg

This one, I'm not sure how I feel about. I stopped collecting Hill when the Cubs traded him.
I never had a bat barrell though, so I figured for $2, what the hell?
Plus it's the "1st ONE MADE!! ZOMG 1/1!!!"

Should have a huge mailer coming today from a fellow Dawson collector.
21 serial #'d inserts. So Monday, I'll be able to post a giant George-like scan

morning everyone.

the Pirates lost a make up game to the Mets yesterday afternoon.

I am off today but working 16 hrs tomorrow. my wife works every Saturday night so when the overtime was offered I figured why not sit around for an extra 8 hrs. plus I could use the money for vacation in a few weeks.

Charlie great cards and even better prices.

imac congrats on getting into the playoffs.

Dave we have a WWII sub here in Pittsburgh and it is pretty cool to go through and learn how they were used during the war. you and your boys will love it.

Charlie - Nice cards dude...I like when people can be equally as excited for a parallel "normal" card without an auto or GU. Nice pickup on the Hill too...great job on the prices.

Dan - Nice to have a few choices atleast. Have a fun and relaxing one regardless. PM sent by the way ;)

Dave - Your kids will thank you later ;) Kudos sir!!!

Dave(pgh) - Yikes on the hours but the paycheck will LOVE the OT. Hope your Pirates pick up a bit. Mr. Bay is facing the M's so I hope we both get a piece of that pie...we win 2 out of 3 but Bay gets some great stats ;)

Good morning guys. My wife has to work tomorrow but she should get off around 6-7. One of my buddies wants me to go to the lake but I feel bad about her having to work and don't know if I'm going to go.

I paid more for the Dawson parallel than I did for the Hill auto

I love parallels and inserts man! These are 2 of my favorite cards
out of my entire collection.

I am already going to be at work for 8 hrs so what's 8 more.

I say the Sox will take 2 of 3 and after Bay went 0 for the series against the O's he will breakout big time against the M's :D

Charlie - Great to know about your joy of inserts and parallels ;)

Dave(pgh) - Just as long as we win 1...we had a tough road series: Dodgers (we got 2/3) > Yankees (we got 1/3) > then Red Sox. If we can win 1 we will still be at .500 which is phenomenal compaired to the past

Skorris - You must be drinking the wrong stuff  Whatever wakes you up though ;)
