I worked 16 hrs yesterday but I was able to see the cities fireworks display so it wasn't too bad. 8 more hrs today and then 3 days off .

Afternoon guys.

Hope you two enjoyed your 4th.

Mine wasn't too bad honestly.

Good food, some drinks, saw a little bit of fireworks and enjoyed some time with friends.

Pretty uneventful for us, family visiting and just hung out and relaxed as best we could.

My 4th was awestasticome! I worked until 3pm, then went home and slept until like 6:30pm, then got up, cooked a pizza, watched Adventures In Babysitting, and drank a few beers while fantasizing what it would be like to do nasty things to a 1980`s Elisabeth Shue! God Damn that girl was soooo fine in Adventures, The Karate Kid, and Back To The Future! Just my type! Other than that I watched the Cardinals embarrass themselves. So, and awesome day all around..........................facetious I am being.............oh, and Star Wars was on Spike last night too. AND Tony Stewart wrecked the **** out of Kyle Busch on the last lap at Daytona to win! Awesome finish, and incredible crash for KB.

YADI made only his 2nd error of the year yesterday too. And it rained ALL DAY! The rain held off just long enough for the fireworks festival, but as soon as they were over it started raining again.

We did not much around here, I slept most of the day, since it rained all day as well, and then I saw some fireworks from my back yard.

Good Morning Guys!!! Hope the 4th was great for everyone. Had a nice quiet night at home myself with a great view of the Puget Sound. Was lucky enough to see 2 shows going on at once.

Dan - Glad the day was relaxful...good family time??

Dave - Glad you survived yesterday...nice to see a show afterwards. Enjoy the 3 days off after the next 8 hours.

Anthony - Morning/afternoon yourself. Time with friends is always nice...hope the weather stays strong over there.

Sam - Good call on watching Adventures In Babysitting...thats one of my fav's from back in the day. Good luck dodging the rain bud.

sounds like a nice relaxing night Sam. I was so happy when I saw KB trying to block Tony when Tony was past his rear tires and sent him flying (glad he is ok). as for Elisabeth Shue I agree 100%.

Checking in guys...working my, oh hell I don't know, 40th straight Sunday morning. Plus I worked last night. Good news is my #1 most wanted Oswalt autograph is on the bay, and both Oswalt and Haren are pitching today.

It was nuts when Kasey hit Kyle from behind (haha, that sounds horrible) and KB`s back wheels were on Kasey`s windshield. THEN he gets drilled in his drivers side after coming off Kahne`s car. I am glad Tony wrecked him, and had a feeling he would. That was an instance where Kyle`s aggressiveness worked against him. Wasn`t any fault of Smoke`s really. It is great seeing Tony succeed at Stewart/Haas. I believe I seen Rick Hendrick hug him in Victory Lane too. He gets his motors and chassies from them.

I was worried about Kahne when Kyle landed on his hood but they both walked away. it's great to see Tony leading the points and having so much success in his own car. he has always been one of my 2 favorite drivers along with Harvick.

GO HAREN!.............Watched the Nathans contest yesterday too. Would be more impressive if they were eating whole tomatoes. Is it me, or does Chestnut seem a wee bit retarded?..................And expect the Reds to bean Chris Duncan today if he is in the lineup. He ahniallated Hairston at 2B yesterday. Duncan`s first at bat after that play, LaRussa pinch hit for him with Brendan Ryan. I hope he gets drilled because I want to see some post 4th fireworks!

I like Shue in the movie with Tom Cruise - bartender movie forgot name because I was a bartender for three years met my future wife while working .
Made c-note selling at game last night after paying 30% table fee .
Just love the customer complaining about price quoting Beckett but won't listen about shipping cost - he still bought ! Took 90 minutes to get out of parking lot after fireworks .
Have a suite today at stadium - wife won in a contest - 15 tickets what a deal.
Didn't count on this group into RACING!!!
Use to do trash detail at charlotte motor speedway fifty 55 gallon trash cans ever 30 minutes or so. That was the way local high school raised money.
