Good morning, all.

I got pick #2 in Andrew's 05 Draft, uh, draft. So that's cool.
How is everyone else?
Good birthday, George?

Does anyone else feel like last night was THE most boring
HR Derby of our generation? I didn't even watch the final.
I think I turned on a rerun of Roseanne

Agreed, I even left home and one point, too much Berman for me.....
I did enjoy the softball game, Nelly has some game.

The softball game was enjoyable.. more than the HR derby..

Just solidified that Golic's an ass..

Maine of course......
...hi gents, tried to start a All-Star MT thread but Dan and I must have posted virtually simultaneously......

Son's LL All-Star team won another yesterday, we are now in the top 3 in the District and must beat the team we lost to in our 1st game (11-10 heartbreaker) to get a shot at the undeafeated team (that they lost to yesterday) and would need to beat them twice to win District.

My son, who is a little guy, pitched the final 3 innings for us yesterday giving up one run and pitching the final 2 innings under the lights after a 2+ hour rain/lightning delay. I was very proud.... :D

Good morning guys. I hope everyone's day is off to a great start.

George- Happy Belated Birthday! Sounds like it was a good one. My apologies for not being here to sing Happy Birthday with the guys yesterday. :D

Scott- Congrats! Hopefully they win again today. Sounds like you have every reason to be proud. ;)

I told you guys last week that I had purchased a Dunn lot. It came in yesterday, no scans yet, but there were 238 cards in total (including dupes). I paid $45 dlvd for the lot. There are over 30 game used and several numbered inserts including 2 numbered /5. It breaks down to right around $0.19 per card. I couldn't be happier. That will be my last purchase until after the move. I will keep on with my monthly break in football, but time to slow up until after we move. It kind of sucks, there's a board member who has an Adam Dunn Premier Logoman 1/1 he's selling too. Why couldn't he have been selling it a couple of months ago?

Good morning fellas. Two more days until I start the new job. I'm actually looking forward to it. I'm sick of sitting around the apartment all day. A couple weeks from now I'm gonna miss it though. Had a sweet mailday yesterday. I had one of these but sold it last May when Berkman was killing the ball for $150. Picked this one up for less than 1/3 of that.

morning everyone.

I agree the HR derby was extremely boring. I did pick Fielder to win and I was happy to see him win it but I think we were spoiled last year with Josh Hamilton.

I am very excited to see Jason Bay start his second All-Star Game tonight and see Wakefield pitch in his first.

George congrats on the article.

Scott that's great that they won their game and you should be very proud of your son and his pitching performance. good luck to them in the finals few games.

Joe congrats on the great price for the Dunn's.

Trevor that card is beautiful.

The MT has been slow this morning.

I didn't think the HR Derby was so bad, Chris Berman on the other hand, I can't stand the guy. I'm hoping that the MLB Network can get the rights to the Derby before too long. I would much rather listen to Harold Reynolds than Chris Berman.

Chris Berman is a ******!! I hate that he says, "That one's to the mooooooon!" Or "That was just landed in Kansas City!!"
He needs a major facepalm. ::facepalm::

Good morning/afternoon MT brothers!! Just a quick hello. Busy morning troubleshooting my server. There's some serious hacking going on.

Anyway, sounds like you guys are busy. GC- do anything interesting on your Bday? Hopefully it was a good one.

Charlie- (from yesterday) I can definitely give you some pointers on your sig, but it looks great!! I'm not a user of Paint, but if it has some shadowing effects you could add some shadows behind the players to give the picture some depth. Other than that it looks great! Nice work!

Big shoutout to Jeff!! You da man! He sent a package with some goodies for the boys' PCs! Scans to come soon, probably in tomorrow's thread. Incredible stuff. 8-)

Joe- can't wait to see scans of the Dunn pickups!

Ok boys. Gotta run. Day is flying by and so much left to do. Hope I have time to relax and watch the AS game tonight. Totally missed the HR derby cuz we were hauling arse through Missouri at the time, but doesn't sound like I missed much

Hey Joe,

Do you guys know for sure now when you are moving?

No, still not sure yet. It's looking like November-December though. If it ends up being close to Christmas, we've been thinking about seeing if we could wait until spring. I'm not too thrilled with the idea of moving in the winter.
