We are going tomorrow night to the Melting Pot. Its just a fun place to go and she loves the drinks/desserts. Plus with him on food now she can have anything on the menu, and she is very excited about that!

Fantastic restaurant!!

There are 2 in the Chicago area, and we have been to both.
Oddly enough, my wife made fondue at home on Saturday :D

Dave - the card back looks phenomenal! PM coming.

Jeff - PM sent.

Went there for my first date with my wife. . . 16 years ago. . . We go there often for anniversaries.

Check the website; there are coupons either online or if you join their mailing list.

And yet another "brotherly" situation  We have the Melting Pot about 6 miles away from us. For awhile we would go every other Monday and meet with some friends for a couple of drinks and the yummy fruit/tasty dip combos. I now see why this is a favorite place  I haven't done the dinner menu there yet though...any favorite dishes?

Alex - we always just get one of the dinners for 2, which I think is like $80. Includes apps, dinner, and dessert, and waayy more than enough food for 2. I always walk out of that place stuffed

Dan: Congrats on the anniversary! Also on getting Mini to sleep a bit more.
:-)

Art: Doctors just prescribe pain killers for bone spurs, because they hope that the spur will stay cose enough to the main bones to actually grow back onto it. Until you get older (like my dad) when your bones just won't grow back together. In that case you are stuck with them until you pt for surgery. Hopefully that's not the case with you.

Doing well fellas. Got that Walter Johnson PSA box incoming and am going to an Anniversary dinner tomorrow night at my favorite spot. Mini slept for 10 hours past two nights as well. Going to be a good week I think :)
That's awesome! What a relief for you.
Yeah, no kidding! I reeaallyy hope my daughter sleeps well.

Thanks Alex - 9 years!

Chas, we went from 12 hours on formula, to 2 hours when we switched into baby food, now we are back up to 10 hours and he is getting used to it

...still a newlywed (or whatever they call it)......

Instead of frying everything in oil, use the... Okay, I'm going to completely butcher the spelling, and I suppose if I wanted to go to the website, I could spell it right... but the coque vin broth... with the wine and spices -- well worth it, and much healthier than oil.

We always order the coque a vin with red wine, although I think they still put a little olive oil in there.
