Sweet, sweet ride Mr. Calfas. Did I mention that was a sweet ride?

I know I am in the minority by a long shot, but I'm glad to see Favre back again. I hope the Vikings kick some Packer ass twice this year.

A little OT here but Josh and others who have a son, did you ever get the feeling early on that his nickname might end up being "Crash"

I am diggin his destruction, fearlessness... :D
 No lie, that is what we started calling Gavin just after he started walking, then when he figured out what kind of power his mighty hands had, we started calling him destructor cuz everything he touched was thrown, smashed, mutilated, or chewed!

We actually call Max Boo, or Boobah. But mostly Boo. Don't know how we came up with it at all. He answers when we call him that though. ::facepalm::

Morning guys. All seems to be well here in Central Texas, let's hope it stays that way!

Where?

Austin. I've been here for a little over a year. Moved from CA for a job.

What part of Austin do you live in. I lived most of my life in the suburbs.

George - Very cool about your bro. Which department is he in? The job I moved out here for was a postdoc at UT in the Chem dept.

trevordchi - I live between Burnett and Lamar just off of 2222.

I like Favre, seems like a pretty down to earth guy. I give him credit for sticking in there. I'm not one for seeing the past stars fade out of pro sports. It's kind of sad. I hope he does well because it brings some life to the games. The media definitely covers him too much, but he deserves it. I'd rather them cover him than Vick.

Dan- is mini walking yet? He's what, coming up on a year?

6 months Dave - he is standing and kinda walking along the side of the sofa, holding on to something as a guide...

MOFNY - did you see that you won the MT spot in one of Drew's upcoming breaks?

Ah, yeah. Shooting ahead too fast :D It's hilarious seeing them get their little wobbly legs under them. I think 6-12 months is probably the best age range cuz so much happens during that time. And everything they do is so dang cute.

He doesn't seem that way to me at all. He seems like a punk bitch who has a history of holding teams hostage JUST BECAUSE he is too primadonna to go to training camp, plain and simple. He knew he was coming back this year, but didn't want to go to camp. You know what he said, he can't stay in the dorms like everyone else. Doesn't seem to down to Earth to me at all. Seems like a pampered punk who is only out for what Brett wants. He didn't give a **** about the Packers those last few years, he didn't give a **** about the Jets, or he would have reported earlier than he did. He doesn't give a **** about the VIkings either, or he would have been with them much sooner. At this point he's only interested in sticking it to the Packers.

He wants to play, fine and dandy. But he should PLAY and not coming in late. He should do what nearly every other NLF player does.

I don't buy this Brett Farve earned it ****. He isn't special, and should be treated like every other player. He has ruined any positive perception people had of him with the way he has held three franchises hostage every off season for the last few years.

**** BRETT FAVRE!!

I have no idea how we came up with the pet names we call the boys either, just something that comes out at some point and it just sticks. How'd the school situation turn out, Josh?

Have you ever looked in the mirror one morning and realized that your hair went from "Ok" to "desperately needs a haircut" overnight?

Yeah, I look homeless this morning. Eesshh.

Agreed, I might need to get one before I go back on campus Friday
