Thanks for the kudos Steve, Dan, KC, Joe, Dave, George, Alex and Charlie (from the other thread! ;) ) Just pecking away at it!

Keith- good to see you, man. Hope the job situation works out. Buyouts are never fun and always bring uncertainty. Best of luck. Any new Rice pickups?

Dave- I agree, love the nomar. But UD really screwed up. No way should they have him in a Cubs uni, nothing against the Cubs. But he was definitely at his peak with the Sox in the early 2000's. Sucks that they did that.

Maine- just went back to read... looking forward to the Sox/Yanks. Sounds like Jerry Remy is coming back to announce that series too. Hopefully a better outcome for the Sox than last series. :?

KC - Morning bud!!! Thats a very unique and kinda neat goal to put your PC on a "diet".

Never thought of it in terms of a "diet", but I like it. Of course, now it means I can put my PC on a diet, but can't stay on one myself

If we do a Secret Santa for xmas, shouldn't we also do a secret gift giver for Festivas???

I'm obviously in for one or the other.

The Secret Santa idea sounds great.. As someone who has ran them on Beckett, I know how fun and a pain they can be.. Hopefully no one will complain this year..

Agreed, that is why hopefully it might run a bit more smoothly with a smaller group that trust one another. Any thoughts you might have/lessons learned please feel free to pm me.

1st thing I thought when I saw it. I've felt that way about a lot of cards though.

Alex, np, I was purposely ignoring you too. ;) School is going good, thanks. Been adding fish slowly, prob. at my cap of @ 20 or so. Having issues with cloudy water though. I've been using clarifier and it just won't clear up. Just changed the water last weekend to, and petsmart has no idea either, as my water comes back normal every time. How goes it on your end?

Hey Charlie! Thanks a lot brother. That was a fantastic idea on your part. I never even thought of using it as an avatar. ::facepalm:: I like it because I get to see it every time I post. :D Speaking of Dunn, the Nats lost last night, but Dunn was 2-4 with an RBI. The Nats had 4 total hits and Dunn had half of them. He's hitting .287 this year.

Did anyone else see that my Bengals beat the Pats last night. Ochocinco kicked the extra point and even kicked off the second half.

You can call me Milton
Alex- We are playing the not expecting for him to be moved card. Hoping for at least a concrete answer for next year. We don't want to go through this again next year.

Adam- Remember to breathe when you are on bended knee. We don't want you passing out or throwing up on her shoes. Best of luck.

So boys what are we going to get them for the wedding?

Thanks Dave. If I am gone, I wish they would at least give me an end date. That way, I can plan my next move.
Oh well, what can I do?

The Rice collection is slow right now, not for any reason other than there really hasn't been anything that I have needed that has popped up.
Also, a new "project" has sort of taken over my wallet this spring/summer. I will post some scans later.

I did pick up a Rice 05 Playoff Memorabilia 1/1 auto and an 2008 Ultimate Signature 4 patch auto #'d to 5 that I will scan when I get home.

Has either of the Rice 2005 Ultimate Signature 1/1's popped up?

Hey Steve - Not sure if you are new to fish or not, but if you are dealing with a
brand new tank/water/fish, that cloudy water is called the "bloom". Basically, all
of the microbacteria that reside in/on the fish is establishing itself in the water.
This could take anywhere from a few days to a few weeks, depending on your
climate/water/size of tank. Changing too much of the water can actually make it
take longer, and potentially kill off some of the less hearty fish.

The Rem Dawg IS back tonight!!! He's had a tough go of it the last 8-10 months. Also his son (employed in security by the team) got busted by the Sox in a steroids ring of some sort recently.
