Has either of the Rice 2005 Ultimate Signature 1/1's popped up?
Not to my knowledge. There are no recorded sales and I have not run across them. I'm sure they'll eventually show up.

Dave, long story but I just lost my connection at UD, they offered him a BS raise and he laughed. I will try to get all I can prior to his last day.
 :( Dog gone it! Tell him to raid the vault!!
Connection? Vault? Color me intrigued.
You know... the vault with all the cards that were supposedly produced and released but have never been seen on the open market? Then all of a sudden someone receives a replacement and somehow that card was in their vault the whole time... I'm sure my Jeter Numbers /2 and a few other cards I need are in there. Just my guess. :(

Steve- did I miss or forget an announcement??? You expecting again??

Joe - The only contacts I have are on my eyeballs...and the left one has a minor tear so its a bit scratchy
Alex- ever consider getting your eyes lasered?

One of the best moves I ever have done for myself

Sure have!!! I haven't looked back into it for awhile though. I'm hoping insurance will soon cover a portion of the cost, but I am finding more and more people I personally know giving 2 huge thumbs up so the "scary thoughts" are out of my system  Between you and Dave (when Dave reads this) what was the toughest part of the surgery??

Charlie - hahaha....I totally remember that episode. Probably a great thing I wasn't looking into it during that time

Keith - Always updating the Hernandez PC...I am now up to 34 different autos with only one dupe. I am focusing on HOF stuff and patches for both ends when I can find them. Glad you had a blast at Cooperstown...whats new with you??

Scott - Glad you are liking the new ride...we got a new 2006 Chevy Cobalt for $6000 :o Our clunkers were beyond repair and we couldn't drive it to the dealership so they wouldn't take our awesome "tank" :( Married life has been great...although ask me again a year from now  Seriously though...life could not be expected any better. How about yourself?? Your soon to be adults seem to keep you quite busy...life flying by I assume??

Dave- Does it cost to upgrade to Pro? Hope you have a great vacation!

yes it does Joe. they have 2 options $2.99/month or $24.99/year. I went with the $2.99/month for now because I may try to switch my Bay collection over to Goolge's Picasa or create a website. I logged on this morning trying to upload 3 new Bay cards and it told me I was out of space so I upgraded and now I am only using 3% of my space. plus no more annoying ads (although AdBlockPlus blocks them anyway).

...and I certainly will have a nice vacation. thank you.

Hey guys.

Just on for a second.

Heading to a Greek restaraunt with JUST the wife tonight. First night out without our son in a while, so we plan to enjoy it.

Also, have a huge Saturday night planned out in the Alps in southern Germany and then enjoying my other 3 days off.

Out for now, will talk to everyone later.

Honestly for me, there was no real tough part. A little anxiety but they give you downer (****** I think) and that reaaaaaallllllly mellows you out. So the surgery is a piece of cake. Somewhat odd feeling when they actually perform the cornea deal, but it goes by really quick. The recovery was simple, just keep eyes closed and sleep  Then lots of drops and bam, no more contacts!! Do it, you won't regret it.

Jeff- Eastbound and Down is definitely awesome. HBO has a lot of awesome shows. Flight of the Conchords, Entourage, Hung, Eastbound and Down, and on and on.

Alex- Sweet Jeff Dunham reference with the Jeff-fa-fa!

I would LOVE to do a MT secret santa. I have done two previously and got some nice stuff (plus sent some nice stuff out myself).

I won't be on again until Monday most likely, as I will be leaving for the Alps a few hours before the Saturday thread will start and Sunday will be spent recovering from the 12 hours of drinking on Saturday night/Sunday morning :D

But, I will have PLENTY of time Monday as I picked up a 24 hour CQ shift from a buddy so he can go see his family in east Germany, so I am sure I will be ornery and crazy that day ;)

Adam-- Good luck. I know she will say yes and join you in your journey towards the rest of your life.

Dave-- Great card.

Good afternoon to Steve, Dan, George, Alex, Keith, Darren, Charlie, Ken, Joe, Scott, Kevin, Josh.....geez, I hope that is everyone ;)

Seems the MTC is growing all the time :D
