At least Penny is out of the rotation.
The Yankees are absolute world-beaters right now. All we can really hope for is that they're peaking too early.

Good morning guys.
Another day in the classroom setting up today. But they just called to cancel my dentist appointment, so that's nice.

Alex, did you get the Felix Super? I put in a bid for you, but it wasn't quite enough. That thing jumped big at the end.

Morning KC...thanks for the extra bid try  I put my "high dollar" bid but that lasted about 2 minutes  It's the thought that counts...that would have been PERFECT to get a rainbow going, but there's always next year :? :(

George - Back to work already huh?? Hope the first day back is great.

Scott - Morning bud!!! I saw the news about the hurricane storminess near you...are you guys safe from that??

Josh - Morning to you  Any new outings with the new pistol??

Steve - Glad you liked District 9...me and the wife are going to that on Wednesday and we will be seeing Inglorious Basterds tonight

Jeff - I seem to have missed a hello to you ::facepalm::

Art - Can't wait to see the patch!!! Have no clue who Tony S. is though...sounds like a mafia name

:grouphug: HELLO!!!!! :grouphug:

Alex- I put about 300 rounds through it on Saturday morning in about an hour. A few more FTE (fail to eject) and one FTF (fail to fire). I'm just hoping it was the ammo. Cheap bulk ammo from Walmart. Went to the area Gander Mountain and sat in on a gun cleaning seminar to learn a little more. Sure is a fun way to spend an hour or so.

Thanks for asking, both Art and I should be very safe from the hurricane. I am an hour in-land from the coast. We 've just been in the muggies for a sold 10 days now. Did have showers here and there over the weekend.

I did read that a 7 year old perished yesterday at Acadia National Park when she was swept into the ocean by a rogue wave (along with 19 other people) at a popular viewing point. Others did survive.

Acadia is one of the most beautfiful spots on earth.......

Just saw this on the news, and it said that 7 people were swept off the cliffs, and 4 of them were able to get back safely on their own. 2 were rescued by the rescue team and the 1 little girl didn't make it. VERY SAD for her and her family. Just goes to show that even the beautiful can be deadly.

Morning guys.

Didn't check in as I got back later yesterday then expected.

Had a fantasticly hazy Saturday night, followed by Sunday on a lake and dinner at the Hard Rock Cafe in Munich.

Sunday night was slow and now I am in the middle of a 24 hour shift (will be over at 3pm EST tomorrow...which is 9am my time).

If anyone truly cares I will go into more detail about Saturday, but just imagine 4 guys boozin' in a foreign land, partying with a bunch of Germans and Turks.

I haven't scanned them yet, but I mentioned them last week, not sure if anyone noticed, but I received these in the mail last week:

1972 Topps Fisk RC
1983 Topps Sandberg, Boggs, Gwynn RC's
1985 Topps McGwire, Clemens and Puckett RC's
1986 Topps Traded Bonds RC

Plan on getting them scanned sometime this week though.

The Fisk looks pretty good. I would like to get the all graded, as a side project I am working on (HOF and Star RC's 1986 and before).
