Adam- didn't see your thread yesterday, glad that it was shared today! Congrats to you both and well done! Thanks for allowing us to share it with you. That's awesome. So did she know it was coming or a complete surprise?

Scott- saw that story. Wicked sad about the girl. I was in Acadia around 1990, incredible park. Glad the hurricane isn't going to hit you guys too bad.

Morning Alex! Nothing new in the wideright household. Back to the grind (coffee grind, that is ;) ) How's you?

Congratulations to Adam and his bride-to-be! :)

Busy day here today. We are going to drop off some stuff at Salvation Army, help Chris get set up at one of her school libraries for upcoming school year, do some shopping, and get me to a Dr. appointment in anticipation of tomorrow's surgery.

Hope everyone has a good day!

He is actually someone who LOVES going to school. It is more of a social thing with him. His mom and I are baffled by it as both of us were aching to be out of school when we were his age. We look back on our high school lives as eternal ordeals. Ironically, she and I both work in education now.

Max starts 4K a week from tomorrow.

Any resolution about schools?

George,
Thanks for asking.
He'll be attending the school he got stuck into this year. Next year they'll try to get him in to the school by the house for 2010-11 school year.
We're going to check it out on Wednesday night.

Man o man, has a lot of work to do this morning!

I want to send out a very big thank you to tramers, who sent me
a very nice lot of Brian Dayett IP autographs over the weekend.
Dayett was with the Cubs from 1985-1987.

So, in honor of tramers generosity, I've decided to have a little MT contest!!

Whomever can correctly answer this question first, will win a GU lot of
either baseball or football (your choice).

Brian Dayett was a very good fielder, and 1987 was supposed to be his breakout
year with the Cubs. He was slated to be an opening day starting outfielder.

My question to you is, why wasn't he? Good luck! :D
