Today i will be spending the day at my wife's Enterprise Rent-A-Car branch dressed up as Scooby Doo. Each city branch has a Halloween contest and the best branch wins a night of drinking or something. Their theme is obviously Scooby Doo. I was up until 1 am last night dressing her office and working on a foam cut-out of the Mystery machine. The office is made up to look like a random "Haunted" location from the show.

Good times. Glad i could use a whole day of leave for this ::facepalm::

Nothing like throwing away your dignity for free drinks! :p

Oh right like enough of those allow for you to maintain it...please...

;)

Doh, you got me!

Same reason some schools aren't allowed to announce the pledge of allegance(SP?)??

Great question. Our school is in a church, best guess.

Chris has the same situation at her school. (And it is a public school). She can call it "Fall", "Autumn", or even "Harvest", but not Halloween. Of course, the kids ignore that and every other word out of their mouths this week has been Halloween. :)

We rent the space in the building. Had a whole wing built on years ago, before I was here, with classrooms that 90% of the school is in.

And JL, your right. The kids don't know the difference. They say halloween 100 times a day, we just aren't allowed to say it, technically. LOL

Don't ask, don't tell, huh?

Chris sometimes does a little rebellion thing; she will "accidentally" say Halloween with her groups in the library a few times a day.

Fight the Power!

Ours isn't quite as bad - the 8th graders have a "Harvest" Social this morning. We're allowed to wear anything we want, but we can't decorate our classrooms with Halloween-specific things. I drew some pumpkins, a ghost, and a zombie version of the Language Arts teacher on our team white board this morning, though. Fight the Power!
