The wife just left to go to a friends house for the day/night.

They are going shopping then having a ladies night in with movies and drinks, so me and Hunter get to hang out and be guys most of the weekend.

Flying solo today as Chris has a librarian's conference in Ontario (California) today.

I think I will try to get some organizing done here today. Have actually been considering putting my entire book collection in order (14 bookcases full). Told Chris that technically it should be her job, being a librarian and all.

She proceeded to tell me what I should "technically" do to myself.

Morning Andrew. Sounds like you and Mr. Dewey Decimal will be spending the day together. Any time I "tell" my wife she should do something based on her career or her gender, I wind up spending time on the couch, AFTER I do what I said she should have done!

Usually she can tell when I am joking around. Usually. I tried to convince her it is the same thing as when she asks me (an English tutor) to look over a paper/report/etc. to check it for grammar and spelling.

She just gave me "the look" and carried on with what she was doing at the time.
