Well, you know cool terms like Fast Roping!

And the tye-dye shirt is cool; I have a couple myself and enjoy embarrassing the Evil Teenager by wearing them around his friends, saying words like "groovy" and "right-on", and calling them "dude" and "brother". He thinks I do it just to embarrass him, but these are things I say every day on the job. The embarrassment is just a bonus.

So, is anybody going to take advantage of the half price listing fees on ebay today?

I'm thinking about it Andrew. I have stuff I've been meaning to list for about 2 weeks now.
I never seem to have the time after I get home, and I don't do it at work, because I don't
want my auctions ending at 2 in the afternoon. I may list it all tonight. Most all of it is
low-end, so i don't think it will matter what day it ends on.

I don't think we'll be doing any shopping per se, but the outdoor mall across the street
from us is giving away grab bags to the 1st 1,500 people who show up. The bags contain
coupons for the mall stores, including the Carter's store which we love for Olivia, and will
also include a mall certificate for anywhere from $5-500. Some of the bags will also include
store-specific gift cards in varying amounts. We figure it's worth the few minutes for us
to run across the street and grab a couple.

As far as actual shopping goes, we have our parents left to shop for, and I think the deals
will be just as good if not better after Friday on the stuff we're looking for.

The man at the counter asked the older boy, "Son, how old are you?"

"Eight," the boy replied.

The man continued, "Do you know what these are used for?"

The boy replied, "Not exactly, but they aren't for me. They're for him. He's my brother. He's four. We saw on TV that if you use these, you would be able to swim and ride a bike. Right now, he can't do either one. "

Same here. Have a few low-end cards I will list today/tonight. Haven't listed this month, so my first five will be free anyway!

NO WAY! I am willing to pay the extra 5-10% to avoid the crowds. I wonder if wal-marts plan will help avoid people dieing?

Hell and no.

We have been done with Max for like a month almost. Picked a purse for Julie up on ebay she was watching. Max is going to make the grandparents presents.

Most of the deals you can get online anyway starting tomorrow on some sites.
Just waiting to see what Apple is going to do for discounts on stuff.

Welp... found out I woke up on time and got ready for no reason. We have nothing lined up for today (which isn't that unusual since most of our clients are lawyers/doctors who take this week off). I feel like a princess -- all dressed up and nowhere to go -- except for the whole dress and being a princess part.
I guess more like a server tech with no server to tech on.

Oh, and about Black Friday. Just do the shopping online. Most places have sales on their sites. You still have to get on early to beat the rush, but at least there's no cold weather or possibility of being stampeded. (Unless you have regular indoor stampedes around your neighborhood)

This is a career/life choice that people make about "Black Friday", here in Illinois seems like a special type of person shops the 3AM sales <need rolling eye smiley>.

I will say though, that TV deal they have at Target is an incredible steal!
