[quote="Sam Banks":30vde8fk]I have a feeling, little old lady or not, that with my temper I probably would have beat down whoever did that to my store. I think I would have totally lost it.

I did yell at her when she was trying to back up. I remember yelling stop... turn the car off.

I stayed pretty calm, ran up front and pulled my brother out of the way and into a chair.[/quote:30vde8fk]

I would have probably went to jail if I were you, especially if I seen she was trying to leave. There would have been the closest blunt object going through the windshield directed at her face. Prove that she didn't bust the windshield out when she DROVE THROUGH MY STORE!

I guess that's terrible to say about someones grandmother though.

what stands out to me most about the photo is how she split the planters like the uprights in football. From the picture it looks narrow, almost like a fg in arena football....

yup they did not move at all, kind of crazy. That is also why there was not much damage to the car, she hit the middle of the door and just pushed everything out of the way.

Good Morining All!!

allincards - so thats what your avatar is...that is CRAZY!!! Glad everybody was okay. When I was a store manager for Starbucks last year, about 2 months before my promotion to corporate, one of the stores in my district had the same EXACT thing happen. Wasn't an old lady though...turned out to be a 14 year old teaching her 12 year old friend how to drive   . Turned out to be a huge mess, the 14 and 12 year olds parents had no insurance and had no clue their daughters could even get the car out of the driveway. I believed Starbucks settled the matter fairly nicely out of court, but it was neat seeing the video footage concidering nobody was hurt.

MojoDan - did you get all your xmas shopping done? I am down to the final 2 people on my list and will be taking care of them...

SamBanks - tons of ketchup helps better the taste of Spam

Have a great day guys...I'll see you more on this thread before I head out in about an hour!!

:o It'll be ok Scott. I'm sure he'll love to chauffeur his little siblings around and not go out with his friends. ;)

...well fortunately in Maine you can only drive siblings for the 1st 6 months of your license, so he will continue to get chauffeuered around by his girlfirend but we'll abuse him to drive his brothers to basketball practice and other activities. Amazing that they passed him, based on what he said that he made several mistakes and the heavy snow that we are having. He did parallel park perfectly though.

Man my Drivers License exam was way too easy....3 minutes and I was done. And I didn't even have to parallel park ;)
Don't worry though...driving over 2 years though and no tickets and/or accidents. :)
