Anybody know what it means when a Beckett listing has an asterisk after the card name?

2005 Donruss Champions Impressions Combos #342B A.Dawson Jsy-Pants/ 50 *
2005 Donruss Champions Impressions Material #342 Andre Dawson Bat/ 25 *

Never see/heard of these 2 cards, and they both have the *

Bruce - I have a couple of those for no-name players.

* is just the "B" variation of the card. Not all players have A and B. B is in a shorter PR than A

My week has just been badass. I reunited with a former highschool crush (hour+ deep conversation), and we are making dinner/movie plans, and the computer I bought for my mother arrived today. All-in-all, the best days of 2009 might be the last.

Hey man I don't swing that way. Besides I'd rather be alone with her.

Dave- sounds good man! :D Thanks for asking about my bro. He's not doing very well actually. But the cancer seems to be avoiding the treatments and getting worse. We are praying for a miracle. :(

Bruce- I believe this is the one for Wake.

Morning guys! No snow here, just cold. They are saying slight chance of snow for Christmas but I have my doubts. Heading up to Wisconsin tomorrow to see my bro again. Gotta map out a route that won't get me stuck in snow storm. :?

Chas- nice pickups for $2! Love the cheap nice ones you can find. I bought a bunch of Wakes last night off Beckett marketplace. That place has been very helpful in finding a bunch of cards for the collection. Still more to go.

Barry- enjoy your white Christmas :D Take the Gkids out and build a snowman with them.

Not a college football fan either. I haven't watched bowl games in years.

Sabres won last night. They play Dave's Penguins tonight! Feel like driving to Pittsburgh to have a few beers and watching the game. ;)

Ok boys have a great day. I'll be on and off cleaning the house and getting ready to travel tomorrow. Maybe a couple on-the-road-again contests tomorrow? :D

Dave(Mets)- I've wondered how buying a vehicle on ebay works. Was that a dealer or private? And who picked it up or delivered it?

Dave - We had been looking for a Tahoe for quite some time, waiting for the right car/price to come along. This one is located in Panama City and so are we. As it turns out, the guy even works on Tyndall AFB like I do. The rest was all done in person.

Dave, My father-in-law is battling cancer too. He just came home from the hospital yesterday after a bout with pneumonia. Tis the season for miracles so we will add your brother to our prayers.

That was my 1st thought too, George. Its just that doesn't cover the bolded one.
Neither I, nor the other big Dawson collector has them, so I wonder if its a mistake?

Ah, makes it easy that the person is local. I guess that would be the best way to go about it :D Congrats, nice find. I also appreciate your thoughts and prayers for my bro. I'll be thinking of your father-in-law as well.

Thanks Dave. We appreciate your thoughts. That's a cool video. Wonder what the heck they did with all those hats?? :o

Morning Jeffrey!

What are your hours, Josh?

You can call me Milton
A guy decides to buy his new girlfriend a pair of gloves for Christmas-after all, they've only known each other for three weeks. Romantic, yet not too personal. Accompanied by her younger sister, he goes to the mall and buys a pair of white gloves. The sister picks up a pair of ******* for herself. But during the wrapping, the clerk mixes up the parcels. The sister gets the gloves, the guy takes home a gift box containing the *******. Without checking, the guy rushes the suspect gift to his sweetie, after drafting this loving & helpful note...

"I chose these because I notice you are not in the habit of wearing any when we go out in the evening. If it had not been for your sister, I would have chosen the long ones with the buttons, but she wears the short ones that are easier to remove. These are a delicate shade, but the lady I bought them from showed me a pair she'd been wearing for the last three weeks and they were hardly soiled. I had her try yours on for me and she looked really smart. I wish I was there to put them on for you the first time. There's no doubt other hands will come in contact with them before I have a chance to see you again. When you take them off remember to blow in them before putting them away, as they will naturally be a little damp from wearing. Just think how many times I will kiss them during the coming year. I hope you will wear them for the coming Christmas Eve.

P.S. The latest style is to wear them folded down with a little fur showing.
