Dave(wide) - you would be shocked on what kind of help you can find on youtube as well ;) Just type in acoustic guitar lessons and find what works for you.
Thanks for the tip, I'll check it out. Hadn't even thought of that. Right now I'm trying to master different strumming methods and working on my rhythm.

morning guys.

did anyone else watch the Winter Classic yesterday? what a great game and Fenway looked awesome in the snow.

Morning all,

I saw some of that game and it was great to see some of the "Miracle on Ice" guys being interviewed by Bob Costas.

Reminded me that I need to scan my COMPLETE SET of Signature Rookies Miracle on Ice autographs, too!

By the way, did I mention that I have a COMPLETE SET of the autographs, including the very tough to find, Herb Brooks? Did I? 8-)

Andrew no you never mentioned you had the set of Miracle in Ice autographs. do you have them scanned? I would love to see them and congrats on the Star Wars auto.

Did the window get fixed yet Josh?

Fixed on Tuesday. Took all of 5 minutes I think.

So you are free of that headache now. Whats next?

Working on at least one basement wall. Scraping paint, cleaning, patching cracks, repainting with "water proof" paint. That's the one I'm dreading but I need to do it before Spring.

Good. You'll love it!

Weekend is good so far. There is a super sexy Ripken I want to pick up this weekend, but I doubt I'll be able to land it.

Gonna try to move a few things quick and see what I can do. :?

Yep, I have a COMPLETE SET!! :)

Last year I finally found the last one I needed and picked it up for about $10. I am planning to get them scanned into their very own photobucket album soon. Hope to someday find an authentic Al Michaels auto to round it out (though he wasn't part of the original set).

And the SW auto will be pretty darn cool, if I may add. 8-)

It IS awesome! :)

I can remember sitting in our living room with my mom, watching that game (can it really be 30 years ago?). One of the greatest sports memories I have. :)

Josh - I'll check it out. When is payment due again??

George - I'll be there watching the stream...non R Kelly style 8-)

Andrew - I just read about your ebay certificate from catching up on yesterdays thread this morning...can't wait to see what you got

Dave(wide) - Great idea on focusing on rhythm...there is a MAJOR difference in learning rhythm strumming versus movements of chord changes. Keep it at 2 chords to move between...the easier the better, that way you can see where your breaks are in the strumming patterns. Once you master the strumming patterns then add a few tougher chords to "move up" to the next level ;)

Scott - YUM!!!

Yes, I saw that interview. That's what reminded me that I need to scan my set. Plan to do it this weekend.

I saw a good recipe for French Toast on "Diners, Dives and Drive-ins" where they coated the bread in egg and crushed up Captain Crunch cereal. Looks good!

.........I'd eat just about any type of French Toast. I'm partial to Peanut Butter Capn Crunch but that actually has me intrigued........
