...oh, and Happy First Day Back at Work of 2010 (for many of us) to everyone!

Ahh, just weeeeee bit late there Mr. Mule. We'll forgive you this time, but you gotta get on the ball next year. No more skipping the FCB for a week. :o Oh ,and welcome back buddy. :D

This snow and rain stuff over the last couple of days has put a kink in about every muscle in my body. If it hadn't rained the other night, and it stayed all snow, I would have had to crawl out my doggie door into the back yard. ::facepalm::

EDIT above.......I've been around, quiet and cautious as usual though, you must be delirious from all the snow removal...... ;)

At this moment, this is entirely possible. It's just been crazy here, between the snow, rain, wind(30-40 MPH), and trying to get all these cards scanned and uploaded, the G/F, etc, etc. Maybe it's me that's been absent to much. :benson:

Back to the grind today and wouldn't mind a snow day towards the end of the week. :D

Happy Birthday Adam!

Charlie, how do you think Andre will fare on Wednesday?
I think he will finally get in this year, either by himself, or with Blylevin.

I do have to say that I am quite torn though as strange as that seems,
because if he does get in, my collection will be on the back burner for most
of this year, I'm guessing. I expect to see a big price jump from all of the HOF
collectors for at least a few months, which is unfortunate because he is in at
least 2 products releasing this month. The good thing is, he very well could end
up in more products than usual this year.

Idk, I may actually sell some of my doubles if prices go higher than expected. :?

I'm not sure I share your optimism but wishing him good luck. Does he have any good looking cards in a Sox uni?

I see just Alomar being elected

Morning George.

I've got 4 more years to wait for my guy to get in, but I was thinking that his stuff probably won't spike much since most people already know that he's a lock. I would put up a bunch of my doubles if they did spike though.

Morning all,

Happy Birthday, Adam!

Have some errands today and some applications to fill out.

The Garage of Doom still awaits. It is beginning to rebel, though: the washing machine died yesterday. My theory is that the garage killed it as a warning to me...

Thanks George. Not really sure what I'm doing with it yet. Still not really sure what it is, but rookieaddict thinks I can get some of that moola stuff for it, lol.

Morning Andrew. Did you see my post yesterday about getting your package in the mail on Sat.?

Andrew, GM! Pic coming soon, thanks!

Art, a North East seller has had them for the past few years selling them as Promos/Samples ETC. He normally gets $10-$25. The Piazza Auto is a little different but you are keeping that one.

Yeah, the Piazza is gone for good. It'll be in my PC. :D Now if I could just get the actual card from that year. If I list the Pujols on the bay, I'm not sure the best way to list it. Title, description, auction, BIN/BO, price?

Just a gut feeling, but I don't see Alomar getting in on 1 ballot.

Dawson has a few decent game used/auto Sawx cards, mostly from 2004.
This is the only one I have. Most are pretty short-printed.

This is probably the nicest one he has, which used to be owned by a certain member of the MT.

Well, just wanted to make sure you knew I got it, and wanted to say thank you very much. I've never seen any of those Microverse things before. It's very much appreciated.

Art, I would try it BIN/BO to test the waters, let me know when you do since I am mildly interested.

YES! Indoctrinating the youth!

He will enjoy "my" book. "Call of the Wild" is his most widely known title, but "White Fang" is a personal favorite of mine. Very satisfying ending is all I will say, so as not to ruin the story for either of you. Will be interested in hearing your take when you both finish it. :)
