Checkin' in from home as I am working here 'til mid-AM as my middle son has an ortho appt.

I am in the midst of a real drought- have not seen anything to fit my collections within the last month or so.........haven't checked EBAY yet today so maybe today is the day!!

I am in the midst of a real drought- have not seen anything to fit my collections within the last month or so.........haven't checked EBAY yet today so maybe today is the day!!

Good luck with ebay! Sometimes a drought like that lets you save some money for when the flood gates open.

I have decided that since I am nearing the end of my Jim Rice, Rob Dibble, Lee Smith and Dave Kingman collections, I needed something else.
I have decided to dive into football and collect my favorite player, Drew Bledsoe. A surefire HOF'r whose cards are very reasonable. I figured that since I don't have a job yet, I can use my baseball trade bait to trade for some Bledsoe. Should be fun.

Oh yeah, I am going to try and post video breaks of my last major purchase while I had a job, 5 tins of 2005 Ultimate Signature!

Yes, I hear ya.....my collections are very focussed so there are times when new additions are hard to come by. May have to get back to my '52 Bowman set which has been on ice for many years.

Good luck on many fronts Keith- job search, new collection, video post! I struck out with your very specific want list that you sent me a while back.

I use to love Bledsoe, interesting how his career in NE ended. Do you really think he is a surefire HOFer? He has big numbers but I am not so confident.
