no Bay is not that expensive to collect. I saw that last night and couldn't figure out why anyone would bid on that card for that ridiculous opening bid. I paid maybe $15 for that card and $20 for the Red version /25.

That was kinda what I thought. Pretty much on par with Dawson before the HOF madness.

Do you think being a Met will affect prices more or less than being a BoSox?

Hey Yo! Is anyone else excited that 2010 Topps Hobby cases are arriving today? Base Topps is always one of my favorite rips each year. I've got 6 cases coming, so it will be a busy day for me Also 2 cases of '09 Draft coming today as well. Let's hope the wax gods are with me.

I don't really think it will affect his prices in the long run. when he was traded to the BoSox his prices spiked a little but a few weeks later they settled down again. there really hasn't been a spike yet but maybe when the season starts.

Nope. Not even really that much of a team collector any more. I remember seeing this kid pitch last year,
and when Draft came out I won the orange ref. on a whim for $0.99, so I figured I'd try for my 1st Bowman
rainbow. I missed out on a red /5 for $10, but there are 4 more to be pulled and listed. No super yet either,
but I figure it'll go cheap when it's pulled. Then I'll have the most worthless Bowman rainbow ever! :lol:

Charlie- Sounds like a plan, brother. Good luck with that. I have a few Chrome and BDP cards of Kyle Lotzkar of the Reds. I thought about trying to put his rainbow together, but some people ask way too much for him. I don't even know if he's playing baseball anymore. :lol:
