morning everyone.

back at work after my 4 day mini-vacation and of course it snowed so I had to salt.

Charlie I like that Dawson is in a Sox uni on that card and congrats on adding another one of your grandfather's cards.

Hope you are well on your way to recovery, bud. Here's a great time-wasting/boredom-curing site.

I try not to spend hours and hours online.. I split it up into pieces during the day and try to either read some magazines or hopefully have company to occupy my mind. Searching for a new vehicle is something I will be needing to do now too so AutoTrader and Ebay will get some extra love over the next few months..

Think Im going to go back to a Ford Excursion.. had one that I traded last year to downsize and regret every minute of it. Think this time I'll try for a all black Limited and put it on some 22's. Really would be my ideal vehicle for this time in my life since its comfortable for the family, can tow anything which I plan to buy a bass boat in a couple years and being Diesel is decent on fuel for a vehicle its size.

Charlie, I checked my Dad's cards to see if there was an OPC, but my dad was still in the US in 65, so no luck, just Topps (no Nicholsons of any kind)

Dave, snow sucks....you're gonna have to take another 4 days off, soon!
Hope you can see some of the game at work, and catch the end at home.

Dave - Very nice looking autos!!

Jesse - Thanks for checking bud. There's 1 on eBay for a while now, but the BIN is too high, imo.

Jesse I agree on both accounts and yes I will be able to watch the 1st Period at work and catch the rest at home. I guess I will watch that other game tonight as well just to see who the US will defeat in the Gold Medal game on Sunday :D

Charlie thanks again.

So are you able to put the Mustang back on the road, or is it totaled out?
the Mustang I will buy back from the insurance and part out as soon as I feel better.. all the high performance stuff I have in it will give me a nice return plus the payoff for the total loss. the body will be Campbell soup cans sometime later this year. if this were years ago I would just buy a decent roller and use the drivetrain from the wreck in it and have a nice new ride.. but I don't have those ambitions anymore no the desire to do so.

Sometimes I just read what I write and don't like the way it comes off. Haha. I'm actually very excited to be busy with Wedding stuff.

As a veteran of the Wedding thing, I have to concur that even know it's not usually the "guy thing to do" to get excited, I remember planning my first wedding and feeling like you feel.

THAT said, my second one, where we decided to get married in Jamaica on the beach, just the two of us (with the minister and two rent-a-witnesses) was a different kind of excited. What is nice, is that we came back, and two months later, renewed our vows for immediate family and followed that up with a big party for about 150 people.

Chris and I got married in the courthouse to make it official, but hopefully will get up to San Francisco this summer for a delayed honeymoon. :)

Morning Andrew, Charlie. It's going ok. I don't think I mentioned on the board yet, but I know I told Joe and Andrew. I got a part time gig for the census starting next week! Only 20 hours per week but it's something steady :D

Charlie- nice Dawson! I'm shocked he wasn't inducted as a Red Sox ;)

Andrew- enjoy your day away from math. I try to stay away from it as much as possible each and every day.

Dave- nice autos you got last night! Were any of the big dogs there?

Correct me if I am wrong, Dave, but isn't the census all about math??? ;)

Good morning guys. I hope everyone has a great day.

Dave (p)- Nice autos. Congrats on more sweet additions to your Pens collection! You're getting so many Penguins autos that you'll probably need to make room for the new ones. So feel free to send me a Crosby or Lemieux auto to make some space.

Charlie- Very cool auto. I like the ones that are signed "The Hawk".

Dave (w)- Congrats again on the job brother!

Andrew- A day away from math is always a good thing. :D
