Totally random thoughts:

---we are FINALLY under 100 days until the World Cup. ESPN.com is doing a nice job getting the excitement going with the "Top 50 players in the tourny" article yesterday, and "ten must see first round matches" today. Even Preston, who is so locked into the NASCAR season right now that he hardly thinks of anything else, greeted me waking up this morning with "less than 100 days"

----booked a family vaca to Disney yesterday. We were going to go in August until my wife realized that 110 with high humidity and her do not mix.....so we are going during April vacation. Even better? SHe is taking them down two days early so I dont have to take a full week off. Anyone been recently that has a "must see" to suggest?

------Finally got a good front to back listen to the new Peter Gabriel disc last night. In a word? Brilliant. His voice still has so much life and power in it, the orchestra is in top form, and the arrangements are stellar. "Heroes" is tops for me right now, but I am sure that will change. On another music related note, Angels and Airwaves is still offering their new disc as a free download (google: AVA Love) and it is very good. As like the first two offerings, very "spacey".

good morning guys!

another day of sitting here healing up and patiently waiting hearing back from the insurance on my car. they went last Monday to see it and I've heard nothing even though there is no question its totalled. just want to get it done so I can buy it back and transfer it to my uncles garage for storage. Gonna strip the car of everything possible to sell and hopefully make back some good money on all the performance parts that are in it. Looking daily for an Excursion online to replace my Mustang. Big change but I have owned an Excursion already and it was the best truck I've ever had so really want another one. This time around I will customize it a bit to my taste with some bigger 22 inch wheels, exhaust and programmer to boost up the diesel a bit in performance. I just can't keep anything stock that I drive.... its a sickness!

but have always been a fan of Blink, Boxcar Racer, and The Transplants.


1st4040 - I drove an Excursion for work for about 6 years and LOVED it. Only car I ever really fit into. :lol:
I had the 6.7 V10, and it was a great truck to drive. Horrendous on gas though. I think I averaged 6.1 mpg. ::facepalm::

I have been out of the scene for waayyy too long. I hadn't heard of +44 until just now on wikipedia. ::facepalm::

Also had no idea that Blink toured last year and are working on a new album.

the V10 is a total pig on gas. I bought a 2005 6.0 diesel in late 05 and had it until last year. we decided at the time to keep my Mustang because of what I had into it and downsize to an Envoy (huge mistake now). now that the Mustang met its untimely demise I'm going back to an Excursion. I need the 4x4 for daily transportation and the space for my family of 5 to ride comfortably. We all miss the truck and I cannot wait to get another. This time around though I may not get my color of choice but I already told the wife that if its not black I will have it custom painted.. maybe a shade of blue I like that you would never see on a truck like that. This time around instead of just looking like every other truck I want it to be custom a bit to fit my taste.

Check this out, here is a listing title: 2005 donruss kings lou brock auto #hh-99. The description does not give a serial number. I email to ask for the Serial number and the reply was hh-99, weird since DK Brock is not #/99, any of them. Check Beckett and card #99 could be a print run of no greater than 25 and as low as 1. I haven't been around as often over the last couple weeks with the mom in law in town (MIL Darren ) then a little (okay not very little) issue with my sis and no longer brother in law.
