Downie is a puke. He is everything WRONG with the game of hockey.

Downie, 21, acquired from the Flyers in the Matt Carle trade, has had a colorful career. He was suspended 20 games by the NHL after leaving his feet to deliver a hit to the head of Ottawa's Dean McAmmond in a preseason game. He was suspended three games earlier this season for hitting Worcester's Kyle McLaren from behind.

Was just googling and this came up on their new twitter feed

Edit 2: There needs to be a line around the boards, and if they are inside this, it is boarding. I'd say within 5 feet.

yeah I just read the same thing from Dregger. I guess maybe the NHL needs to add the Stop Sign to the back of the players jersey's like the kid's have on theirs. if you can see the numbers on the back do not hit the player. I don't know why it's so hard to understand.
