It only cost $3! That was the opening bid and I was the only person to bid on it. I am very happy with that price.

Since George was so amazingly generous and send me the Super, I am going to try and piece my first rainbow together. I only have 3 so far; base, orange, super. Pretty good start having the orange and super out of the way though! Here's the progress:

Charlie- Thanks brother. There is a red up right now. Someone has the red and gold listed together (they're both BGS slabbed) for a straight BIN of $75.99. The price is a bit high, but if I had the money I would hit it in a second. I would crack the cards out of the slabs though. So if I can come up with $80 or so, I could have the gold-super out of the way.

Dave (p)- Thank you. The damn purple is going to the hardest to find. I think the purples were only in retail. I meant to pick one up a couple of weeks ago, but forgot about the auction. ::facepalm:: Haven't seen one since.

It's like they want to torture you, Joe! Fantastic start to the rainbow and GL obtaining the rest....you got the super out of the way so it's all downhill from there!

pghbuccos - Thanks Dave and I know, havent posted a mailday in a while. Could be lack of funds or narrow wantlist.....or both. Though once I start working again I am going to purchase a VERY nice card that I have wanted forever. After that it is waiting for the T3 Speaker to show up in affordable condition and having the set all framed together. Vintage is expensive

Scotty- Any card I want that I cannot afford is there to torture me. :lol: I am looking forward to seeing what the Donkey will do this season. I think his numbers will look something like this:

.271 BA, 43 HRs, 116 RBI, 126 BBs, .409 OBP, .547 SLG, .962 OPS/158 OPS+

I also expect much better defense. He was improving as he spent more and more time at 1B last year. The word is that he worked very hard in the offseason to improve his defense at 1B. So hopefully he play better D so I don't have to hear that **** all year long too (like with the Ks).

I got laid off at the one I worked at last year, but I am waiting to hear back on a handful that I applied to. I'll let ya guys know if I get one of the jobs. And I can see why your wantlist is not as narrow as mine, having a multi player/team PC :mrgreen:



Joe - I can't wait for the season to start either, as the Red Sox are lookin pretty good all around so they will be fun to watch this season [also going to 3 games ]. Those Dunn predictions look right on the money...I wonder what his stats would be if he actually had a team around him?!
