It's not like I'd ever be in a position to buy cards like that anyway, I just don't agree with the practice.

I guess the way I look at is: If a card goes at auction, and a seller outbids everyone who collects that player and wins the card for $300, and then wants $600 or more for the card, that's not someone I'd ever buy from.
