Dan I am going to miss the Mellon a lot but I am very excited for the move to the Consol Energy Center. I have tons of memories from the Mellon like my first hockey game, the Ringling Brothers Circus, an amazing Metallica concert and many other events.

Josh thanks and

Kevin - nice work :)

Dave - gonna miss the old rink?

Doug - a friend asked me to pick 3 names that I liked to be in contention for the Masters not named Tiger/Phil, I said Westwood, Couples, and Els. :D I do like the chances of a few others as well though...

I would LOVE to see Freddie in it all four days, but I am not sure his back can do the 4th day anymore. Ernie and Lee are solid picks.

HOWEVER, tiger left 3 out on the course yesterday. If he doesnt do that today, no one is catching him this weekend.

Dave- those were great videos. What an awesome ceremony! There is some unbelievable pride in that city for the Pens. Very cool you were there. That metal ticket is awesome too.

Morning guys. Last day at SAIT. Boss said to sit on my butt and do a little glass, so thats what I plan on doing.

Floor cleaners will be here between 9 and 10 today to clean the rest of the whiting off the rink.

Have the Masters on the mini screen beside FCB. Nice to see Freddy and Watson at the top. Hope Weir can drop his score today.
Shaw Cable is showing the ESPN 3D feed. I don't have a 3D TV, but I will check it out this weekend. (forgot to set a recording today)

Dave, that ticket is amazing!

Morning all,

Hey George, you would have liked talking to one of my students yesterday.
Great guy, just came back from a tour in Iraq. He is interested in archaeology and said that even during patrols, he caught himself daydreaming about all the great sites he would love to be digging in Iraq.

After the war, of course! Kinda hectic in that region right now for some reason... ;)

Yeah, that's like saying Pittsburgh has one one World Series than Detroit and Pittsburgh has played 19 more season.

Sooooo, what is everyone doing today/this weekend?

I am going to get my permanent crown installed this morning and then going to get Chris' car worked on somewhere. Other than that, hoping to take it easy this weekend.

Contemplating a somewhat large ebay purchase (non-sports related), but should probably hold off.

Sounds good. He is a good guy: pretty quiet and reserved, but comes alive when talking about travelling and taking courses. We only have an introductory Arch class here, but he is hoping to transfer in the future.

Was hilarious hearing him describe how mad his Lt. got when he was pointing out interesting areas for future digs on patrol.

Actually, it is more BING than bling that will help fund the purchase a little.

No, I avoid the oxygen thieves across the street. Yesterday they got a ticket on this POS that they have left parked in front of a hydrant for about three weeks. I believe it is the third ticket that "car" has received. Why it doesn't get towed away (and buried) is beyond me.

I took ARKY 201...I think I got an A. We took a fiend trip to Head Smashed-In Buffalo Jump in Southern Alberta. Pretty freaking cool. We got to go see the buffalo runs, and see just how they couldn't tell there was a cliff there. We saw the cairns they used to hide behind as well, and how they funneled the buffalo over the edge.
