Moderately busy day today.
Working with increasingly frantic students as the semester draws to a close in a month.
Interesting day yesterday:
A new-ish tutor was working with a student. A young spitfire-y girl charged past the reception area without checking in, RAN over to the guy's table and started shrieking at him. Evidently, it was his girlfriend who had heard that he was cheating on her. For some reason, she thought that the guy was hiding the other woman in the work area and she was demanding, and I quote, "WHERE SHE IS?? WHERE SHE IS??!!"
I figured that the timing wasn't right to go up and explain to her that the correct phrase would be, "Where IS she??"
My student at the time began to have a mini freak out while hearing this. She said, "What do we do?"
I answered, "We sit back and wait for someone to get fired."
The angry girl shouted, "You gonna SEE!!!" and left. Admirably, the newish tutor, who may or may not be a cheater (my guess is that he probably did. Just seems the type, ya know.) casually turned to his student and said, "Where were we?" :lol:

I hated doing it, because the ID w/14 feedback definately appears to be a second ID that the guy is using to shill bid (see my thread from late last night), but, knowing that I may never see this again (and being a plate involved in the auction), PLUS, being Paypal protected, I needed to make a run at this. Surprised George (Calfas) didn't make a bigger run at this, since I believe he needs it for his set as well.

Dave (w)- I haven't added recently. Funds are very, very tight at the moment. So of course yesterday, like an idiot, I went and checked eBay. ::facepalm:: If only I had about $200, then I would have some new additions. :lol: :lol:

It can be tough when my 42 year old common sense has a smackdown with my 42 year old smarta$$. More often than not, the latter wins out.
