What was the reserve? That's possibly the nicest Pete Rose card I've ever seen :shock:

Safe to say we can put the Ovechkin/Crosby debate to bed for another summer? What a bunch of choking dogs (copyright Tony K) the Caps are.

In other news, shhhhhhhh, don't say it too loud, but the Mets were 9-1 on their last homestand, and in first place.....amazing what adding a little HYPE (Ike) and HYPER (Reyes coming back and batting third) into the mix

It's official, my golf game is bad. My back can't take 18 holes anymore, which is sad at 39 years old. And fun fun, playing 54 this weekend.....

good morning guys!

just woke up and gonna have some breakfast before I settle in to doing nothing all morning. not alot new here except for one of my serious chase cards being listed on Ebay last nite which I posted about in yesterdays thread.. I have big dilemma.. I can add an auto and possibly 5 game used to my pc tonite for about half of what I have in paypal or save it and go after this one card(which is overpriced but with BO option). I think I may compromise and if I can get the auto Im talking about cheap enough (20 or less) then I will snatch it and just try to sell off some trade cards to finish making the funds needed to make serious offer on the chase card. Auto's have been all over the board lately.. some going mid way to the century mark and some staying in the 20 dollar range (my range LOL). I'll just watch the auction tonite and if opportunity presents itself take advantage of it.

Charlie-It's good for me now that both of mine enjoy the game enough that my daughter will hit balls at the range at least, and my son loves to play a quick 9 here and there. AND now my wife is playing too.

Ken - I'm doing something relatively similar on a smaller scale. All of the 1969 Topps Mets in at least PSA 8 or better. I'll have to collect aluminum cans or sell plasma for the Ryan but, what the heck, I'm a baseball card collector!
