Big thanks to Andrew for a surprise package in today's mail! Last week he told me he picked something up for me. Today I find a Jack London book waiting in my mailbox! About 3 months ago I read To Build A Fire and I told Andrew how much I enjoyed it and haven't had a chance to locate The Call of the Wild which he recommended I read next. Well, here it is in front of me!! Thanks Andrew! Very cool of you to send it. You got a package coming very soon as well, bud.

Joe- I'll give my opinion on the Gulf crisis. I think it's a terrible solution to burn off the oil because this will in essence create another environmental hazard with all the smoke and fumes that will go into the atmosphere. There's already been enough damage caused by the oil reaching shorelines in Louisiana and now spreading quickly to Alabama. We don't need the hazard in the air we breathe. They need to cap that damaged pipe that's leaking the oil, along with figuring out how to contain the oil that's already leaked into the water. Just my two cents.

I will say this Dave as much as I don't like the Red Wings I hope the Penguins can be as successful as the Red Wings have been over the last 20 years. the Wings have made the Playoffs every season for 19 straight seasons and have won 4 Cups in that span. they have shown what it takes to be a class organization and I think the Pens are going to follow that same path.
