Wow moving right along here today.. I got back from PT and started doing some housework and then get lunch ready for my youngest and myself so just catching back up now.

Kevin, just a sick mail post for you..those patches are just awesome!

George, as always killer cards!

Dave, the fishing tourney turned out way better than I thought it would which might make it tougher to fish the next one and not do as well. I didn't have my goals set high.. but the bar was set high on a day when it was a tough bite for our whole club. top bag was 4 fish, mine was second with 3 then 2 other guys caught 2.. the last two guys were skunked for the day. this is a smaill club just starting out with 8 members so far and two new joining next month. we compete for points to goto the state fishoffs to represent our club. I would love to be the non boater representative for our club but there are 4 other guys in competition with me for that. No matter what the key is for me to have fun with it and that was definately accomplished. saw your cut auto after catching up from not being home much all weekend.. congrats on that and glad UD came through for you on it.
Thanks Paul! I was pleasantly surprised by what they sent me. The fishing club sounds pretty cool. I'm sure when the boys are a little older (and can sit still for more than 30 seconds at a time) that we'll get into a fishing club of some sort. I just signed Gavin up for boy scouts so we'll get plenty of outdoor time and hopefully do some fishing on the camping trips.

Adam- that sucks about your brothers place. Effin people.

Kevin - How many times do we have to tell you not to post auctions like that? Now everyone is gonna be bidding, and'll end up costing me money.

Could you imagine being someone like Halper, etc. who could drop $100k a week on your collection and not blink?

I think it hurts it a few bucks being a 8.5

Anything below a 9, you might as well crack the slab before selling.

That would be a PC item, not a resell.

Well yeah, for you I figured it would be.

I'm saying in general for sellers, an 8.5 can cost you money in most instances.

if your into fishing and the boys have a good first couple experiences they will most likely be hooked! I fished here and there with my Dad growing up when he had time.. it was fun and stuck with me. make sure to pack tons of nitecrawlers and bread to keep the fish bite going all day.. nothing keeps the kids more interested than catching stuff all day long. Ive taken my 3 daughters and they actually ask me to go fishing because they like catching the sunfish. My oldest wants to catch a bass now and I may just give her my old pole and baitcaster this year or next so she can learn to fish with something other than a starter pole. for now I just like to see them catch fish so it keeps their attention and makes it enjoyable. Girls have less attention span so if nothing is biting they get bored very quick and discouraged even faster. Im hoping our club does a kids tourney eventually but I don't think any of the guys have young kids.. some probably closer to having grand children.

that Blue Chip was cool eh.. the highest price for an 89 Donruss card you'll ever see unless the Big Mac surfaces since I think he's the other big name guy in the unreleased set. I have a scan of the Leaf version of it in my bucket which a collector Im friends with owns.. I wonder if he bought this one too.. haven't talked to him yet to find out.
