How are things your way? Here, travel baseball practice started yesterday, so they can build on their current 5-1 record.

There is talk that Noah may be the first 9-year-old selected to our league's 9-10 Year Old All Stars, which would be awesome. It would cramp being able to play any for his travel team, but it would be a huge honor if he was voted onto the all star team.

Other than that, it is life as normal or what passes for normal.

Another hot one here today. Yesterday, we broke our record for the day with a whopping 100 degrees.

Dave - Congrats to Noah on the possible All Star selection. Maybe a sign of things to come?
Richard - I never figured to see a "Carpenter's" reference here, but it works.

I would have to guess The Waterboy. Simply because it's based in Louisiana (and based on a college I attended for a year and one of my brothers graduated from).
