Morning all!


Any fun pick ups this weekend?

I got a few pickups from ebay and a few members here: a 2005 Bowman Felix Hernandez auto (non chrome), a few Felix Hernandez jersey cards (big thanks to mojodan on the freebie ), got a 2008 Bowman Chrome Anthony Recker xfractor on ebay for a $3.00 best offer and got a SWEET deal for a 2008 Bowman Chrome Anthony Recker gold refractor from dodgerchromie to add to the soon to be complete rainbow :mrgreen:

If that Dan character spent less time getting out freebies and more time scanning his cards, this would be a far better world!!!!

Finally broke my case of 05 Leaf Limited with so-so results.

Today is the day that hopefully Jim Ed will be forever immortalized in the HOF!!!!

Watched 24 last night. Good to see Tony as a bad ass.
Hands down, the best show on TV.

A few non-prospect things, have always wanted a larkin auto...

Anyone think the Chargers got robbed in the fourth on the long ball that looked like the receiver was OB when he came down? It looked like it could have been an interception, but at the very least it should have been reviewed. Could have changed the outcome a little or at least made it closer.

No....the Chargers burned their challenges earlier in the game so there was no way to review the play. Plus, the push out rule is gone this year and Jackson was out of bounds....he could not have had possession of the ball in bounds since Taylor was able to wrestle away the ball.

I didn't realize they had burned their challenge, but clearly (to me) had his feet down even with Taylor having two hands on the ball. Doesn't a tie go to the offense? Not trying to argue, just thought it was a questionable play.

Now the Ravens getting a 1.35 extra second tick on the play clock... that was bad. I'd be especially pissed if I were a Titan fan. But being a Bills fan, to me it's called what goes around comes around (i.e. music city miracle bungle).

I didn't know Bills fans held grudges so long.

And, as the 17 or so replays in the game showed, it was NOT a forward pass

Anyways, I would be upset about the 4 straight Super Bowl losses over the Music City Miracle.

DMC-- As a Titans fan, I can promise you Flacco had close to a full foot behind his foot before going out of bounds. The thing that cost Tennessee the game was Chris Johnson's injury and Alge Crumpler's fumble (though I still believe if the delay of game had been called, they wouldn't have gotten into FG range and there would have been some OT play).

I may not know what 4 straight feels like, but with this past weekends loss and the SB loss, I know how it feels to have that gut check
