Working all weekend...rare saturday shift. Also, have mens games, so I have to prep the ice before the game...not that its hard, just it's work :lol:

I'm watching WWII In Color on the History Channel. It's odd to see color footage when it seems the vast majority was filmed in black and white.

There's another series, Apocalypse WWII that has color footage. Pretty astounding.

Dave, If you watched Band of Brothers, Dick Winters passed away last week at the age of 92 . Him and twenty soldiers fought of 200 Germans. I love WWII and the generation of Americans who lived it. Everywhere I go and a WWII vet is there, I will shake his hand and thank him. If only this country had their resolve and lived like them.

I've probably watched it 5 or 6 times and am mesmorized each time. I saw where Dick Winters had passed away and thought about how many of that generation must pass away daily. Every once in a while, I see elderly gentlemen at our BX or commissary with WWII Veteran hats and I make it a point to speak to them.
