I'm guessing that people were using COMC as a "price guide", seeing that if the card was on the site, it had a current Beckett book value. Maybe Beckett didn't like this.

I'm not a fan of it. I liked the old site, and will continue using the old site while I can, that is if I even use it again. I didn't have a problem when this site changed, but the COMC change just doesn't look good

I checked out the site. It's not bad. I haven't noticed any crazy negative differences at all. Seems almost the same with small tweaks and differences. People just hate change, but this isn't a move backwards. A lateral move maybe, but certainly not backwards.

It's not a step backward in features (well, BV), but I'd say it's a step backwards in design.

I still see the old style. I clicked on the link in one of the first few posts and still just see the old style. Win? :)

Oh, and they still have a XXXXty search.

Why can't we search like this? (Player 1, Player 2, Player 3)

If we could search like that I would search the site daily. I don't visit the site often because I don't want to have to do 20 individual searches.

One thing I have learned is that people do not like a ton of white space on their computer screens. FCB dealt with it, ebay is now using the "white" format and now COMC is using it. Why don't web designers learn that people like COLORS and not just boring and annoying WHITE all over the place that burns our eyes. Get with the program.

Eventually the rest of the sites in the card collecting community will realize that change is not always good. BMB 2.0, FCB 2.0, now COMC 2.0.

Not sure why everything has to change. Wonder what site will change next.

I'd love to just type in "jeter game used" & everything related would show.

When naxcom was good, If u typed in "jeter piece of" nearly all gu cards showed up. Every gu card was labeled "piece of authentic...."

Unless theres no way around it (ex: fcb old server), I also totally believe in K.I.S.S. & "if it aint broke...."

Both of which comc are not keeping to.

I like that they added the .25 to each card to make it a flat 3.00 on Shipping im a fan of that. I dont mind the site like it is now i dont guess, just a little different than it was!

That's the absolute worst part about the new site. I have almost 1900 cards waiting to be shipped to me; if they added the extra 25¢ to each card when I bought it, that would be close to $500 that I would have had to spend to buy the same exact cards. The option to wait and pay for a shipment whenever you wanted was such a great convenience, made bulk buying a lot easier and gave your money more purchasing power. I will certainly be buying a lot less on the new site.

I agree, I was getting a couple hundred cards a month shipped to me and now I have to rethink that. I paid my storage fee for this month already so I will probably stick it out for the month but then I think I will probably close up shop. Getting to expensive to have other people sell my cards

I am so glad that I can still only browse 12 cards at a time. Super convenient. Plenty of empty white space to look at now, though!
