The Niners are the worst team in football. Hopefully we pick the right QB next April with the 1st pick. I like Andrew Luck.

You don't think there is any hope for Alex Smith? He has showed some flashes of at least decency hasn't he?

I think your assesment of the West is probably right on.

Regarding Smith, he's simply not a threat. Even when he has time, he makes rookie mistakes. I can't tell you how many times he planted and overthrown his receiver 5 yards away in his own backfield. In his defense he's gotten a hell of a lot of bad breaks. It seems every time the ball gets clipped when he throws, it is a guaranteed INT, but he's just not a threat in any way shape or form. On the same token though, every time he drops back, in the back of his mind he knows the OL let somebody through and he's about to get clocked.

well, having two rookie starters on the O-line never helps. Even if they are good, it takes time to learn the speed and blocking assignments, as well as building a rapport with the other linemen. The Seahawks know alot about this, as we haven't had a stable line since Hutchinson left.

2 NFC West teams beat AFC West teams yesterday ::facepalm:: and the Chefs are 3-0....I'm so confused  Leon Washington saved the Hawks asses yesterday by keeping Hasselnuts off the field twice....and Janikowski missed that last second FG....as much as I hate to say it.....I'm thinking the Hawks are going to come out on top of the NFC West...I really hate Pete Carroll.

   I LOVE this comment! No kidding to all points! My father-in-law is SO happy to have his K-State Wildcats be 4-0 and his Chiefs be 3-0! Grrrr...
And yeah, if Washington didn't do those 2 kickoff returns, the Hawks would have lost for sure! How does a team get 500 offensive yards and LOSE!? MAN OH MAN!

And yes, as much as I hate to say it, Hasselbeck is playing REALLY bad and if he's not careful, I forsee Whitehurst taking over soon!

Not only losing Hutchinson (to keep crappy ol' Alexander AT THAT) but losing Walter Jones the last few years didn't help either! Max Unger going down this year and not even getting to see our hyped boy Russell Okung... Yeah, we need help on the line!!

kcgranola is loving the fact that the Chefs (spelled that way on purpose :D ) are 3-0 too.
