Quick question, guys.....when an eBay seller accepts Paypal or Visa/Mastercard, how does that work? Is it just like buying anything off of a site with a credit card??

Yes it made it through all right, never had a problem with the PO. And I guess by Visa/MC it means you can put it on paypal and charge it through there? Not sure i thats right.scotty21690 said:

Hmm, reading through a few of eBays help sections and it says that you can pay directly with a credit card only through a seller with a merchant account.

Paypal has always and will always allow you to pay with a credit card. The reason people pay through Paypal with their credit card is that it blocks the card number from the seller. The only difference with sellers with merchant accounts is that they can process credit card transactions directly. It's like handing your credit card to the seller. I would never do this, but I pay for every thing online (including ebay transactions) through my credit card. It allows a 2nd avenue for a chargeback if necessary.
