Good decision for the kid. He was obviously a great high school pitcher, but that definitely doesn't automatically make you a great ML or even college pitcher. From what I've read, he has good stuff but only throws high 80s to low 90s and still has a way to go on his offspeed pitches before he would stand much of a chance to be any good as a professional.

I live next to his school... to be honest. He doesn't impress me and I don't see how he will translate to a successful pitcher past high school. He pitches in a miserably sad district and his stuff is not phenomenal... Now I will not discredit 1 NO hitter let alone 4 is unreal...but I just dont see or understand it

His off speed stuff is piss poor... very good fast ball for a high schooler but wont go far with that
