Okay, after his start tonight, I think Folty may have just overthrown Newcomb as ace of the rotation

Folty just became only the third Atlanta Braves pitcher to toss a complete game shutout with double digit strikeouts. He joins Maddux & Hudson. Good company to keep...

Amazing performance by Folty tonight. His last start was solid too. Now he just needs to show consistency. I'm not ready to anoint him yet.

Just recovered from the "jet lag" from like 4 days ago. Okay, okay....hangover. Saying jet lag just sounds nicer...and more socially acceptable.

Anyone else catch that Freeman has received more All-Star votes than any other NL player up to this point? And 3 Braves players are leading their respective positions in votes...Freeman, Albies & Markakis. Suzuki is 3rd for catcher, Swanson is 2nd for shortstop & Acuna is like 5th or something in outfield votes.

Speaking of Acuna, Braves sure are taking their time bringing him back from the DL. The kid has said he's ready & feeling good for awhile now but they are being cautious.
