Braves win & Nats lose....that means it's been a good day! Don't sleep on the Phillies though, they are still very much in it.

And right now, as of this very moment, the Braves officially have the best record in the NL. They've had the best winning percentage for a couple days but with the Cubs losing the first game of their double header the Braves are tied with them for the least number of loses but they have two more wins.

I can't wait for tonight's game! Mike Soroka is pitching in his home country against the Jays. I really hope he can pull through for the win. He's likely going to need more run support than this lineup has been providing lately. Let's exceed the 4 run mark tonight!

I would have thought they would have scored that an error but instead it's a triple for Freeman. First base hit from the first five batters in the order

Braves only score runs with 2 outs or without runners in scoring position.

They don't drive them in with RISP and less than two outs

Following the splits with my fantasy team when I should have followed my gut has screwed me over more times than I care to remember.

Thankfully it worked for the Braves right there....assuming they don't keep him in for the 7th inning in which they probably will.

It's gotta be a contagious mental block or something but this team completely lacks the ability to drive in runners in scoring position with less than 2 outs, ESPECIALLY when they have a runner at 3rd with one or nobody out.
