prospectorgems said:The only problem with this thread is that EVERYONE knew the Phillies were going to be good. There is no surprise factor whatsoever. The Brewers were never favored this year let alone compete for the best record in NL and maybe ML when all is said and done. I do apologize saying that the Brewers will have the best record in the NL after they sweep the Phillies as the Brewers have played 5 more games than them this year so your winning percentage will be a bit better. I guess it is no different when Jose Reyes sat atop the batting leaderboard while he was on the DL to only come back and lose that spot from Ryan Braun.
I understand the Phillies fans' arrogance as you have the best pitching staff in the major league, but again, we all knew they were going to have a great season. Just don't let that arrogance turn to anger when you are watching the Brewers in the World Series. You need to just appreciate your season and try again next year.![]()
I don't know where the heck you are getting arrogance from? They have the best record in the league, 3 legit Cy Young candidates and a team that is almost completely healthy. Don't let your irrational hating cloud your opinion or anything. Chump.
