I posted this thread after Lee's last start that left a stadium speechless and frenzied at the same time. "The Phillies are good" was a nice rally cry for a feel good thread for us Phills fans.

I think any intelligent baseball fan knows that the road to the WS is going through Philly. As a Brewers fan this series is hard to watch because it just shows how good the Philly's are. The Brewers offense has stalled this series and in my opinion this was the most important series in September. 14 games left after this series and honestly the Brewers need to win at least 10 of them. Go Crew.

With the DBacks winning and Brewers losing, the Phils would now play the Brewers in the LDS.

I was hoping for a Braves/Brewers matchup. I think that would be an interesting series to watch.

My god, you guys are a bunch of babies! Someone says something about your team and poking fun about another team beating them and you all start crying like little girls. I was actually going to come in here and say I was rooting for the Phillies this upcoming series because I know for a fact that if the Brewers make the playoffs they will be done after the first 3 games.

I always had fun with ribbing back and forth with Cubs fans, but you guys are taking everything so personal. Give me a break. Some of you need to realize not to take everything so seriously and have fun with it. To be honest, some of the Phillies fans that have replied on here scare me because I feel that if someone wears another team's jersey at the stadium and some of the people from this thread where there, they would hurt an innocent fan just for supporting their team.

There is a difference with having fun and taking it too far and you guys (just a few with dumb responses) are a terrible representation of Phillies fans.

I won't deny that at all. After the comments that Fielder made last night, it almost makes me want them to not make the playoffs. Regardless if the Brewers limp into the playoffs, they will stand no chance against the Phillies if they play them. In fact, I am sure the Phillies will win the world series.

I'd say that it's more of a home grown core, with a few good trade decisions, and one significant free agent signing that was less than another offer.
