Omg!! Thanks for posting this!!! The only thing I am not liking is the insert per pack idea, unless ther are more 1:48 inserts, or 1:240 inserts and the like that aren't mentioned ! Just seeing that box artwork, and the golden Pinnacle logo brought chills down my neck!!

Aha...I was curious when the Italian American year began. Glad to see it's now 2013, I'll have to remember that when I write a check.

It really makes me sad that they don't have their license. This set would be great!

Break out the cans!

I'm sure that wont happen but in reality, they were a good idea.

The thinking was that (like today) packs were no longer .50 so retailers were dropping cards, especially because of theft.

Not only were the cans eye catchers & came in their own display, but a lot harder to steal.

So seems like blowout hates this & we like it.

My distributor told me no one will buy it. I will for sure.

I'm torn.

So you want the return of 1998 Pinnacle Zenith?

Minus any die cutting, theres probably no cooler, better looking card technology than dufex.

Yes, donruss did zenith in 2005 which included lots of dufex inserts. Those haven't caught on but it was a different time in the hobby.

Back then, gu & autos were still "rather new" in terms of ease to get & no one wanted inserts.

Now, with gu played out & multiple autos in most products, those are old hat.

With 90s inserts being hot NOW, this new Pinnacle product could be pretty successful, especially at such a (huge gigantic "whoa") budget/collector friendly price.

Pinnacle used dufex in 1993 and the Cooperstown insert set is a nice chase.
