Topps Fan Favorites has been a failure the last few times they tried it or similar types of products. It has been great for singles buyers but terrible for those busting boxes. Lets hope that topps makes the neccesary improvements to the set and prices it at the correct price point to make it worthwhile for those who are looking to bust it.

Man that is some great news I can't wait for this to come out. Does anyone know approximate release date? Also who are some guys you all would like to see in the set that have not been in one before. I would like Mickey Tettleton and Mike Henneman for my Tigers collection and then other guys like Mark Langston, Kenny Rogers, Todd Worrell and Tom Browning would be awesome.

The ATFF sets were among my favorite sets ever!!
I'm not as big of a fan of Archive, since they're basically reprints of older cards (same picture). I'd rather have the original card.
But the ATFF sets are awesome because they're old designs with new pictures. Too bad they'll be just inserts in the Archives set.

Just so it's not the same usual guys Topps always does autos of. The great thing about ATFF was that there was a mix of affordable semi-star autos along with the high-end. Bring back some retired semi-stars, who are so badly under represented in modern sets.

I'm witholding excitement till I see a checklist, and see how many will be redemptions.

Great news! I hope Topps can keep themselves from putting rookies and current players into this product.

I know I'm hoping for a certain "affordable semistar" to be included. ;) (If in fact he qualifies as such.)

It'd be nice to see some new Johnny-O stuff. He was included in this year's TriStar OBAK set, but the unlicensed, sticker auto card is just plain ugly.

I'd love to see an auto on an early-90's Topps design!!

Hopefully Topps will finally release a cert of Mark Langston and/or Chuck Finley.

i'm disappointed ATFF won't have a base set component, my favorite part of the release.

I don't see the excitement in the autos other than the subjects, because they are hard to see on the card with their dark ink on an image that has some dark places. Maybe you need to glint light off the card surface to see the full auto good. ;)

If the autos are on-card, this will bring me back to buy some cards. Dumbest thing Topps ever did was giving up on Topps Fan Favorites.

One of my absolute favorites to watch pitch what I was growing up.

In 2004, one of my favorite players, Bake McBride, was back on cards with ATFF and UD Timeless Teams. He signed autos for Timeless Teams, but not ATFF. I really hope they get him in there this time with autos.

The world would be a better, and I believe safer, place with more Kent Hrbek autos in it.

Those would be on my list, too.

I started to build the first auto set, but gave up and sold them, and totally regret it. Only kept the SP'ed Yaz auto. But I was 40-50 in before I quit.
