Glad to see other collectors excited about this release. I did 2004 and 2005 All Time Fan Favorites. Still have some great on-card autos from those sets. Actually pulled Bench/Seaver dual on-card auto, sold it, have regreted it ever since. The subsets could be a hard to put together. Not sure if you guys follow Topps on Twitter but they added even more baseball contracts as box toppers. I cant believe they got a Harper RC auto into the product. I think I am going to start with 3 boxes and see how the inserts go on the secondary market and of course trades.

Dear topps:
The following players are not, & never will be, fan favorites.
As such, they don't belong in this product:

Angel pagan
Chaz roe
Jeff francis
"roll em tight" jeffress
Bobby meacham
Buddy biancalana
Kevin brown
Jeff weaver
Albert belle
Preston wilson
Jose vidro

Thank you

I happen to be a fan of Albert Belle. :-/

I sorta am too...

Pretty happy with that checklist. Aside from the Koufax and Aaron etc., it looks pretty collectible from a st building standpoint. And if not, at least there looks to be new Phillies cards including Bake McBride. Maybe people really do read my posts.

I've been busting anything I can get my hands on.
I love the shortprinted base card (201 and up.) So far I've pulled Griffey, Will Clark, and Brett Butler.
The 3D cards are pretty nice as well. And retail is loaded with relics, I've pulled a bunch so far with Carew being my best so far.

If they're doing 1980 card design how could they not include Rickey?

That topps commercial is awesome for it's cheese. The set looks great and I am looking forward to it but why wouldn't I want to tell my boss? He might collect too. Also I love the idea but seems odd to include them here, the Kobra Kai autos.

Very happy to see Johnny-O included, and as an SP and an auto no less! (All that means for me is that there's supposed to be no parallel or plate to chase.) A couple of the SP's are on eBay, but still haven't seen the auto.

I think it's referencing the 80's show "Who's the boss?", unless there was a show or movie called "don't tell the boss", don't know. Cardboardicons came up with that one

More and more of these are popping up on eBay seemingly by the hour, with prices for the Olerud auto dropping significantly. In searching completed auctions, the first one listed ended yesterday at $32.90. Since then others have ended at $46.27, $15.42, $15.48, and the latest one ended this evening at $8.25. Quite a change over only 24 hours!
