I've been really impressed with Gypsy Queen for a number of reasons:

1. The on-card autos. I know a lot of the duals are stickered, but it's nice to have another product out there that is on-card. I pulled an Andrew Cashner out of a blaster last night, and love how the blue ink pops against his Cubs uniform.

2. From a baseball fan standpoint, I love the inclusion of retired players. Not just the typical Ruth and Mantle, but guys like Barry Larkin, Andre Dawson and Dale Murphy. I was hooked on the first pack I opened, when I saw a Frank Thomas. I also like that I get a Ginter-like product, without having to pull a card of a Revolving Door or Pluto. I get that's what Ginter's about, it's just not really for me. I also like the insert sets a lot too.

3. The value. Along with the Ichiro 1/1 patch I pulled, I have pulled three stamps /10, a mini /10, a Lou Gehrig jersey, two Jeter jerseys, a plate, a Batista auto and a Clay Buchholz auto. I should have two more coming my way from the UPC's I sent in. All of this came from two hobby boxes, five hobby packs and three blasters, and what I've sold has gone for a decent amount. I don't think a lot was produced, which is keeping prices higher, and boxes with more sellable content in them.

I haven't seen any hobby boxes at any of the shops in the Twin Cities for a while now, but I'll be really tempted to pick another up if/when I see them again.

Dawson has been in every topps release the last 2 years. The problem is, with GQ as well, they keep using the same damn pics over and over again

I BIN'd a JJ stamp at $49.99 and then won a mini leather for $28. The first one I saw go off (and missed) went for $6 + shipping ::facepalm::

I sold a Michael Young stamp for $58. I thought that was crazy considering I'd just paid $11 for it the month before.

My Mauer GQ stamp is being listed tonight. Hopefully I can half the luck of MC and his Cuddy auction.

The Ichiro art/patch sold for $797.98. Congrats to Eric

Is this the most valuable card in the entire set?
