Sorry it has to come to that, George, but I fully understand the GEO's frustration. Can't blame 'em for standing up for themselves. Maybe if my campus pay level would have been more organized, we wouldn't be getting laid off next month. :(

Keep us posted on the progress!

[quote="George_Calfas":3g73hakl]Good Morning guys, just got into the lab and warmed up the machine

whats this lab you always speak of

Miggy, I am a research Archaeologist. I spend large amounts of time in one of the following labs: Scanning Electron Microprobe, Laser Ablation, Radio and Potassium Dating labs.

Now I know how George snagged his wife.

"Hey, you want to come to my lab and see my Scanning Electron Microprobe?"

I got my Chris by correcting her grammar and displaying my encyclopedic knowledge of Jack London. 8-)

There's a dangling participle joke somewhere in there.[/quote:3g73hakl]

I often ask her if she wants me to "conjugate her verbs", or maybe "give her the ol' comma splice" when we have some alone time. 8-) Rarely works for some reason... :?

Morning Everybody! I am finally getting to some cards that have needed attentionon my desk this morning. Andrew (JL) glad that the surgery went well. Hope you didn't try to leave on that jet plane last night ;).

George hope both sides can come to an agreeable conclusion.

I wish there was a card show witin 50 miles of my little town.

Fair amount of pain, but it is okay. Without getting too gross this morning, they finally managed to switch out my kidney/bladder stent yesterday while I was floating in the ether; that should help avoid any more infections. Have a followup doctor appt in two weeks. Taking it easy this weekend so I will be good to go to work Monday.

Did I tell you that I was in the vicinity of your Pens awhile back? They were playing the Ducks here in Anaheim and we drove by "The Pond" (refuse to call it the Honda Center) during the game! 8-) If I recall, the Pens won. Funny thing is that parking at the pond is $25! We could see lines and lines of fans trudging along the street (many with Crosby jerseys on) after parking in private lots for around 10 bucks. The Pond parking lot was only half full and the game was starting in minutes. :?

well that's great that they were able to switch out the stent and the infections will not be coming back. good luck with the follow up doctors appointment.

$25 for parking is outrageous. we park across the street from the Mellon and it's only $10. sadly the Ducks game was the last game the Pens won :( . they play the Ducks again on Monday and I will be there.

Awhile back, maybe on beckett, someone had a scan of the Mickey Mantle APOH 500 Club autograph - does anyone still have that scan? I had it saved but lost it when I had to reformat my computer.

Cool....I never thought I would ever have this many Reds

Which do you think will be the most expensive for you to pick up?

I already have the big dollars ones, Wright will be the largest one left.
